I just spent 2 nights in the St George Suite. I found the room to be nicely decorated and comfortable. I liked that I couldn't hear people in other rooms. The view outside left much to be desired but didn't really bother me. The room when I arrived was quite warm with no real way to cool it off quickly....

My sisters booked a weekend trip to take our mother whom is failing to see the coast, Brooking's, the place she called home one last time. Unfortunately, our mother is in her last days and is unable to make the trip for various reasons, her nurse and doctors were in agreement. We called 3 1/2 days in advance to cancel...

We absolutely loved the place and are planning to return. Very well appointed and cozy. Very comfortable, clean and quiet - slept great. A great find and most highly recommended. It is decidedly not a chain and that makes it even better.

As my husband & I were sitting in our room watching TV, another guest opened our door with a keycard, noticed the room was occupied, screamed in startlement, turned around & closed the door. Quite obviously, the Front Desk forgot that our room was rented out & re-rented to an arriving guest. The Mgr showed up, apologized for the mistake...

All of our friends claimed that Portside Suites was the cat's meow. The rooms are nice and roomy, except the bathroom. My RV has a larger bathroom. The view is of a marine junk yard. The owner is obviously paranoid as the place is full of signs with threats of charges if you do something wrong. Our room had a...

The room was very comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay here. We will definantly stay here again. Great restaurant next door for breakfast. Close to some unique shops at the harbor. Just a few minutes from downtown. The staff friendly and helpful.

Stay here every year to attend a golf tournament. Nice rooms. A small kithenette but no cutlery, dishes, and such. Bring your own. Location is out of downtown. Cafe next door with a friendly staff, they remember us each year. Short drive to a seafood restaurant.

We landed in brookings for one night and ended up here. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly the rooms were spacious and clean. We had a view of the working harbor and walked all around the next morning. This is definitely the place to stay if we had more time in Brookings.
