This has always been a favorite of mine! Up on the hill(great views) down in the valley(creek and hole to the beach) The only thing wrong was the hot tub didn't work! All else was fine and beautiful ! the hole to the beach was also blocked(kinda disappointing). Too bad the restaurant is gone. Need a great one there!

I spent 4 days here in November and it couldn't have been more perfect. For one thing, I lucked out on the weather, it didn't rain one drop all weekend, even though the weather report said it was going to rain the whole time. My cabin had everything I needed, including a nice deck and a hot tub. But I... More

1st of all~ Thanks to Travelocity we got a refund and left. We asked to see a room upon arrival & were told not till u pay & it's non refundable. (That should have been a red flag. Along with the closed abandoned attached dining room restaurant off the registration area) We discovered these are trailers with add on rooms... More

We stayed in U-21. Spacious, clean, great view of ocean, great amenities, and super hot tub. Very private feeling, quiet. So grateful.Great access to town, so many great beaches and mountain areas to visit nearby. Thank you, thank you!

Booked for 4 days 3 woman 1 man. Garbage was overflowing 1 1/2 days at start. Insuffient toilet paper (had to buy more), pots and pans need to be replaced (had to buy skillet, left at unit), insuffient garbage bags, missing knob for top burner stove.

We reserved a RV spot based on my husband's prior knowledge. Very disappointing and not kept up. We were placed with full timers and it cost $40.00. No view, no fire ring. Envious of those at Harris and Loeb State parks. The restaurant is closed. The cabins look in disrepair. We are not returning.

I honestly was surprised by this hotel. It exceeded my expectations by far. I don't think each unit is the same, so I would call, but we got lucky. Our view was stellar, our cabin was updated and exceptional (it also had a loft with an additional bed), it had a fantastic jacuzzi and the stars could not have been... More

Was a great location, although thought we were closer to the beach, across the road and down gravel road to the beach. About 15 minute walk. We did walk down and had a maginificant sunset to watch. The Unit I9 was well appointed but the TV only had 1 channel (we were out to late so didn't really worry us)... More

We love staying at whales head it is very reasonable we usually just rent one home all 12 of us can stay comfortably. We are super close to the beach and your 10-15 miles from town. The homes have a beautiful view of the ocean.

If I had read the terrible reviews when I booked, I might not have chosen Whaleshead Resort, but am glad I did. We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. With 2 adults and 3 teenagers, most of the hotels on this trip have been pretty tight. We stayed here in B-16 and it was spacious! 2... More
