You get what you pay for. Make sure you request a non-smoking room if that's what you want. The hotel was clean, but the building and furnishings are a bit run down. The price was great! Service was good. Will probably spend a little more next time for a little newer set up.

We needed a room that would accommodate my wife, myself and Mr. Darcy, my border collie. The room was spacious and clean and ready for pets as it had no carpet. We brought our own throw rug for the dog. There were dog walking areas with appropriate bags and disposal buckets. The room was freshly painted and kept up quite well.... More

Traveling from New York and after reading reviews online, I decided to stay at the Blue Coast Inn. Staff is friendly and professional. I am staying a few weeks and my dog has met other friendly dogs and I have met a few veterans. Very pleased when I seen the size of the room, rooms are equipped with a microwave... More

We have stayed at Blue Coast Inn several times since 2013 and out last stay was 4th of July weekend 2015. We WILL NOT BE BACK. I'll sleep in my car first. We have had excellent experiences here up until this last visit. Apparently the motel has gone thru managment change and the guy who was sent here to take... More

Stayed with my family had an exceptional great time. Great view from the property and amazing location. Very clean comfortable and cozy rooms. Very helpful and cooperative staff. Reached there before check-in time and still they happily gave me the room. Would be definitely coming back with friends and family for the Thanksgiving weekend.

I stayed here on a business trip. Not only was it the most disturbing and disgusting place on the planet, the housekeepers have stickey fingers and are ..well needs a lesson in manners. I locked the door to take a shower. I hear a knock... housekeeping. . I proceed with the shower. Ten seconds later. . Housekeeping. . I then... More

We needed a room on a busy weekend and this footed the bill. It was clean but worn and old. But I didn't have high hopes when booking something in this price range. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice. If you just need a place to crash, the Bluecoast has you covered.

I needed a place that accepted dogs and this motel did. Yes it's old but clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had trouble unlocking the door of my room and the manager re-programmed the key and said she'd probably made a mistake. I was sure it was my fault but I liked that she took responsibility. There... I think this place might be the second worst place I've ever stayed! I didn't like anything about the place! Now why wouldn't a hotel have air conditioning? Are you telling me it never gets hot here? The bathroom room looked bad, the carpet was stained, the bed was horrible, there was mold on the molding.....I could go on and... More

“Try getting on the second or third level. All rooms are on ground level but up the side of a mountain. We were on the second level and were not bothered by traffic on Hwy. 101. The third level is further from the road. However if you have pets you may not have too much of a choice.”
