Booked this hotel for one night while visiting friends in Bend. Check-in was slow, and operated by a nervous man who apparently was new to the job. Once checked in, we headed over to our "river view" room that had it's view 90% obscured by trees and an old "historical" cabin. Moving on past this, my girlfriend took the opportunity...

Hello Colin - thanks for the review, we are always striving to improve our service and these TA reviews certainly do help. We are having a difficult time finding you in our system from July 2016, or anytime for that matter. So, if you would, please call me with your concerns as I certainly would like to discuss this with...

My Wife & I stayed here for the weekend to do the Ale Trail. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river & had a fireplace. The staff was very friendly (w/ the exception of a disinterested and unhelpful bartender Friday evening), the bed comfortable, and the room was clean. This was a perfect place for our Bend adventure!

Chris, thanks for the great review and for taking on the adventure of the infamous Ale Trail! So much good food and delicious libations to be had during that experience! We are so glad you enjoyed it here in Bend! Come back again soon, possibly this Spring to do some fantastic hiking, cycling and pub crawling! Until then, happy travels!

We were very pleased to see how nicely updated the Riverhouse is these days. Our room was very pretty, stylish, and clean. The property is pet friendly - the people checking in before us had a dog, and were given a cute dog bowl, toys and possibly some treats. I would like to see the cat guest package! Currents, the...

Thank you for the wonderful review. We are very proud of our renovation, and yes, all of our 221 rooms have been renovated! The cabin is from Rooster Cogburn, a 1975 Western classic starring John Wayne and Katherine Hepburn. Our indoor pool and hot tub are open year round while we find it appropriate to close the outdoor facilities during...

To be able to go to sleep with the sounds of the river bubbling by is priceless. Rooms spacious, and otherwise quiet- a must! Located close enough for a quick taxi ride to the vibrant town. Would gladly return!

The texting on any needed help. The room and the gym were all top notch. Thank you for the hospitality while in Or. The service was good as well. I did go have a couple drinks in the bar and was shocked to see how much the tab was. They seemed to be very expensive the drinks were good just...

I believe every room is a suite or junior suite, big comfy beds, sitting areas, patio over looking the river, a bridge to cross over to the dining room and bar. They give you vouchers for free drinks when you check in, vouchers for free breakfast. We were invited to happy hour for free drinks, called for breakfast the next...

I have stayed here many times (over 30 years of staying here a few times a year) and I have because I loved the atmosphere and river views. The recent "upgrades" have left this once beautiful hotel stale and bland. It broke my heart to see all the years of its history torn away and turned in to something that...

Jaime, thank you for taking a moment to tell us about your concerns with our recent renovation. Although the vast majority of our guests love and embrace the changes, as well as how we kept the fireplaces and walking paths, change is not always for everyone. We understand that and do thank you for staying with us. We hope you...

The hotel rooms are updated and the hotel restaurant and bar are very convenient for a quick bite. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. One of the best places that I have stayed. I would absolutely stay here again.

Rooms were OK. Comfy beds, clean floors, good showers and balconies. It's like a hotel complex surrounded by a giant parking lot though. Breakfast outside in the sun right on the edge of the river was great. That was the highlight but I only stated there for about 15 hours total. For families I can't say but for business it's...

Cimmy, thanks for the great review! August was wonderful, with the river shimmering past the patio while having a quiet breakfast, just lovely. We now have snow and Mt. bachelor is in full swing - skiing, boarding, and all around great snow play! The Riverhouse is a great location for summer and winter fun! We thank you for staying in...
