This is an extremely convenient place to stay if you are playing golf at Bandon Dunes. It is very neat and clean, very comfortable, and is terrific value for money. Parking was very convenient, located next to room.

Very satisfied with our stay here. Rooms are comfy and clean and some thought has gone into creating a theme for each room - our was a turtle, other rooms were a crab, sharks, etc. Very easy drive in to the downtown area where there are lots of eating choices. Although this is a

Thanks, KLD, for the positive feedback. Bandon is a great little seaside town, and we've tried to fit in with our sea creature theme. :)

We wanted a “cheap” place for a night that didn’t look scary. This is it. The Lamplighter was very clean and had a comfy bed for us. They are renovating the rooms. Ours was already done I think. It had nice decor. They also accept pets for just a $10 fee. He most convenient part

Thanks for the kind words, Wolf! We appreciate our guests. The laundromat car wash is a great resource, as is the Mexican food restaurant next door. It's great to walk a few hundred feet for good food and margaritas! For future reference for you and our readers, there is also a grocery store and drug store across the street.

We stayed there the night of October 6, 2018. This is a great place to stay, just not in Room 103. The sink stopper was not properly installed which made the sink slow to drain. The shower was "possessed by the Devil." The water temperature started out OK, then turned to

Hi Jonniegarn, Thanks for your comments. We're glad you found the bed comfortble and sorry you experienced this water issue. Plumbing in older buildings is a constant challenge, and we work hard to make sure ours operates. The plumber was here and could not replicate what you experienced in room 103, but we'll keep trying. The sink stopper is installed perfectly--it was just pulled too hard by someone so the stopper rod was disconnected. We check them when the room is cleaned (the sink is plugged for cleaning), so it is already fixed. Sorry we didn't respond to your email--since it was informative rather than interrogative and you had already checked out, we didn't realize you wished for a response.

Just stayed at the Lamplighter. While a little tricky to get onto the property-you have to turn onto a side street and not close to the ocean, I was very impressed. It is an old style motel court but the rooms are spotless, recently tastefully updated with a nautical theme and

Hi d_liznick, Thanks for the kind words. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will stay with us again. We're sorry the shower acted up for you. Our plumber is working to pinpoint the issue and will soon be installing a hot water recirculation system, so when you retun, we should be all set.
