We were looking for something different to do on New Year's Eve and we decided on the Geiser Grand. When we called back in October, the female who helped us with booking the room was very friendly. We ended up choosing room 302: the Cupbola room. The booking lady also talked us into discount lift tickets for Anthony Lakes, which...

The hotel is nice, but make sure you confirm their reservation cancellation policy first. If your plans change or if you want to move a night, be ready to be gouged. They will charge you even if the hotel is not full. Seems silly they expect to be paid for not doing anything.

This is a gorgeous old historic building, housing an extraordinarily friendly staff, a stunning hotel, and a delicious top-quality restaurant, with reasonable prices. If you end up in Baker City (and we won't, again), this is definitely the place to be! We had a wonderful dinner of the Wallowa steak dish (with local Morel mushrooms - amazing!), the pasta &...

Our king fireplace room, even with lofty ceiling and windows, was warm and wonderful this past December night as temps dipped to -17 degrees. I go for their BloodyMary's and Cosmopolitans and wines, then devour a fabulous beef dish (I've...

Put this historic hotel on your list, drive from anywhere to stay here, truly a step back in time with a touch of modern. A true touch of heaven and a place that you must visit even if it is to just walk in and say hello.

The Geiser Grand Hotel is a truly beautiful hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. The rooms are grand and large and are very comfortable. They managed to retain the spirit of the original hotel while making it comfortable and welcoming. The Masquerade Ball was a great deal of fun with a tarot card reader and medium. The food...

The Geiser Grand is a classy and well-managed place for dinner and well as overnight accommodations. Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful, with excellent wine suggestions. Service could not be beat.
