Dogs are very welcome in the hotel. Like not just sort of accepted, but really welcomed. I haven't brought one myself so I'm not sure where the designated potty area is, but I'm sure there's a plan for it. Dog friendly restaurants sounds far more challenging I'm no help at all on that.
