Picking up scouts at BSA Camp Hale we needed a motel close to camp. We stayed at Kiamichi Inn and we very happy with our stay. We stayed in Room #15 King $65 per night. We were very surprised with the newly painted interior and new wood flooring and comfortable bed. Exterior was well kept and maintained. Even though the... More

I think this place is now owned and operated by the Rockin H folks. I made reservations for Rm 16 with Rockin H for a late arrival BUT when I arrived at 10pm I could not find room 16 , only rooms 1-10 there, so I called and was told to go a few blocks away to the old Kiamichi... More

My stay was April 2016 - the owner was very friendly and accommodating. There is no rude or hostile person here - the old TripAdvisor reviews must have been for the prior owners. This guy was super nice and friendly. He owns the Rockin H Inn also, and was willing to put me at either motel I preferred. Kiamichi is... More

1st off the lady at the office was extremely rude and hateful. Idk what we did. Maybe that's just her personality. Horrible customer service. To check in you have to go to a room and knock on the door to get her lazy butt to come to the office. Which she seemed very put out she had to leave her... More

Very nice people and family friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy, owners ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and recommended places to see, visit and eat.I read the reviews on here, but we experienced nothing of the sort. Everyone there was very friendly.

Hostile manager, poor service. No ice, no wifii although this is advertised as something provided with the room. Had to stay in a smoking room although there were other rooms available. Old and dark rooms. I will never stay there again; try the Black Rock Roost Cabins; less expensive, nicer rooms, friendly service.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We haven't been down to Talihina in a few years. We would always stay here in the past so we reserved a room. I knew when we pulled up that we should have went somewhere else. The office and the person tending it stunk, but we were exhausted so we got our room anyway. We were... More

They're very rude & unprofessional. I left my laptop power cord in my room. They would not mail it to me, said I'ld get it when "I came back and picked it up." They could have called me immediately when they found it, before I left town.I'm a disabled Marine and Native AMERICAN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DUMP.

I spent two nights here. The room seemed clean. Most all of the furnishings and furniture were cheap and old and worn. There was no thermostat, only an unmarked on/off switch that I figured out on the second cold night. And, just to round out the experience, I discovered when I got home that left an extension cord in the... More

there is no good reason to stay at the homely kiamichi inn. it is tired, bedraggled, and uninvitingly grubby. immeasurably far from a small town charmer, locals and out of town guests should both stay away.
