I love love love this place. It is sooo peaceful and nice. It was my 2nd trip and my husband went. He's an outdoor person and he feel in love with the place, servers in the restaurant, hiking trails and scenery.
We had not stayed a t Quartz Mountain Resort since it had burned down and rebuilt 15? years ago. The resort is on the western end of the mountain chain and the views around the lake are great! The main lodge is a large western...More
View of lake and mountains was breathtaking. It was the best part of the trip. Rooms are outdated and musty smelling. Rustic does not mean shabby. Food at restaurant was okay nothing great but edible. A little high priced though. All in all a great...More
Great time with my wife. Wonderful mornings. The view of the sun coming up over the lake breathtaking. Food ok and very reasonable priced. Good place to relax and kick back. We go there two times each year for the peace and quietness.
The service was ok although the waitress spoke so softly it was difficult to hear her. Other than the dead pan attitude of the waitress , the food was ok. I didn't think the food tasted good, but it was ok.The view is the best...More

I was going to write a long review but after reading all the 3star and below, There is nothing else I could add.
On a positive note, the setting is beautiful.
Most negative. Restaurant. Took 1.5 to 2 hours to get served. Service was terrible. The hostess, Joann, Was trying her hardest. Her helpers were slow moving eye rollers. (2 hours you ask?)
You are a captive audience at QM resort. What are you going to do?
Grounds are run down and in dire need of maintainence. Needs paint and trash picked up.
Rooms ( we were at a wedding so we went in several rooms) all needed something. Loose toilet. rusty bathtubs, 3 legged chairs, TV difficulties, Wore out carpets, Rude front desk clerk. Arrrrrrgh, to many to mention.
Good luck with your stay there. I hope they find the management this place deserves. So much potential here.
