This place is no longer a bed and breakfast. When I called in inquire, I was told it was for sale and would I be interested in purchasing it. The number was her cell phone and I called 4 different times before she answered. She was a darling lady, but unable to meet the need.

Felt like being at home for a night - only better. The owner's time and talents resulted in themed rooms unlike any we've seen. Each room had a unique and completely different character; they are truly different. The Jungle Room actually felt that way. One resembled a library, another was medieval and we lucked into the Santa Fe which was...

This was my first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I usually stay at a Marriott or Hampton Inn. This B&B is run by one older lady, Ann, and she does it all. (reservations, cleaning, cooking, gardening, etc.) Many of the rooms have an over-sized jetted tub, which was really nice. Breakfast...

First, read the Trip Advisor review , titled "Love the Innkeeper," below. Ok, now you are up-to-date, and I won't have to repeat everything that was stated, because we agree with everything. We too, arrived a little late, and Ann was there to greet us. We also stayed in the Santa Fe room. Believe me when I say, you too,...

Clean, GREAT bed in the Santa Fe room, jacuzzi tub and a wonderful breakfast consisting of the famous fruit soup (a chilled smoothie drizzled in honey and topped with whip cream), the best quiche and potatoes I've ever had (ask Anne about the story behind the quiche) and finished with a brownie breakfast dessert. The room was comfy and clean...

Our extended family, (me, my mother, and my two tweens in one car - two aunts and an uncle in another car) took a road trip from CA to OK two summers ago. We called late one night for reservations and Miss Ann was gracious enough to stay up late to greet us. Although the B&B is usually "no children"...

The Standifer House Bed and Breakfast does not take on-line reservations and is located in a small town in Central Oklahoma. My perseverance in finding this Bed and Breakfast, making reservations to stay at it via telephone, and actually locating it in a residential area of Elk City was rewarded by a most pleasant stay at a one-of-a-kind bed and...

My husband and I stayed there the other night and I must say, I think they have some of the best rooms offered at a bed and breakfast in Oklahoma. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the 3 course breakfast and Ann is just a sweetheart who is very accommodating. Let me just say that my husband was reluctant to go to...

First, a tip for you when travelling in this spot of geography: make a reservation! I found myself at 8 pm without a room in this remote part of Oklahoma. I'd wrongly reasoned that there were a couple chain options and that there would be plenty of rooms to choose from. Wrong -this area is bustling with energy contractors. Remembered...

“Ask Ann which room is right for you. Some have the jetted tubs (bigger rooms). Two rooms have access to the upper level porch. The Honeymoon Suite is huge.”
