This was our 3rd visit and it was just as great as the first. Beautiful setting, great food, fun hosts and lots to do in all directions. Did we mention the cabin? Beautiful! And it's all just a 1.15 hour drive from Cincinnati. We'll be back.

We were there in late November and couldn't take advantage of enjoying the grounds or any of the sports activities. The room was very nice but not spectacular. The walls could have used some wall pictures, but were bare. We ate at their restaurant the night we arrived and I was very disappointed. We both ordered the pork chops. It came... More

This inn is a hidden treasure. The workers are so friendly. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Just be prepared -- there is no wi-fi in the cabins. (There is wi-fi in the guest house where you check in, gift shop, and dining area). There is also no television or cable. This is a trip you take... More

WOW!! BEAUTIFUL!!! BETTER THAN ANTICIPATED!!! This was a gift for anniversary. The location is way away from hustle and bustle of every day. Cabins, meal house, fire pit, hiking trails, PEACE AND QUITE. The food was great. The service was spot on. The atmosphere was romantic. The cost was perfect because the helping of our 4 course meal was "over... More

We've stayed here several times. Last time we stayed it was under the new owners. I cannot remember month. They were very nice and could tell they were trying to get into the feel of things. Is a nice quiet area and the food is always fresh and good. Loved seeing A local Amish family come in for dinner. Several... More

We are city dwellers (Cincinnati) who call this our rural retreat. It's only 70 miles from our house but worlds away. They have hiking trails on the property where, if you're lucky, you can go into the woods and not hear a human sound. And the accommodations are wonderful, especially if you book one of the cabins. Breakfasts and dinners... More

My wife and I decided to splurge a bit and take a 2 day retreat at Murphin Ridge Inn before the arrival of our first child. We are so glad we did. Everything was amazing! The environment was so quiet which in itself was relaxing. The included breakfast was amazing. Though it seems a little expense at first glance, the... More

It is always fun to visit the "Ridge" and enjoy the warm welcome, fine food, and great accommodations. This time we were lucky and hit both a rib and a pizza night---the longed for "double-header". Thank you, Jerry! Also kudos to Paula for the squash soup and greens, apple, and cheese salad.

My husband and I were in desperate need of a weekend away to do nothing but relax. Murphin Ridge Inn was the perfect place to do just that! We stayed in one of their cabins which had a king sized bed, jetted tub and over sized shower. It was spacious and clean and just the perfect amount of secluded. The... More

We stayed at Murphin Ridge years ago when it was owned by different people. Just did a quick overnight there and it is still very nice. It looks like the facilities are starting to show wear and tear and the owners could probably be a little more careful in inspecting and keeping up. The bread was wonderful and the breakfast...
