Staff is friendly but the hotel is little more than a pit. You can tell once upon a time it was a nice place to stay but obviously the company just gave up at some point. Odd smells, gross carpet, and an impromptu dance party that broke out at 2:30 AM in the back carpark. (Right outside my room window)... More

To be fair, my boyfriend doesn't travel world class so this was a great pick. Typical run down hotel with complacent staff. Outdated. We had a strong air freshener in our room somewhere which is also understandable since we had a smoking room. I would never have stayed here but my boyfriend liked the price.

Lobby was nice, but rooms and hallway need Serious updating! Soon as walked into hallway had an smell of chlorine, urine, along with stains. Room was decent size. Carpet in room old and dusty. Bathroom really old and not cleaned well. After taking shower, noticed mirror Wasn't cleaned someone wrote on it. Pay up front for a room that is... More

The Place was OK for the money. Room was clean. The best part was that it was very close to Cedar Point. The breakfast is only mini doughnuts and coffee. The worse part was that the staff (mostly the front desk clerk) was EXTREMLY rude. besides not even being able to say good morning to any guest that came by... More

The staff was very nice and helpful and it was in a great location but not sure we would stay again. The foul odor (in ALL 3 of our rooms) was so off putting and the carpets, floors and counters were very dirty. The location was good if you want to go to Cedar point and not drive home the... More

We stayed at a horrible place a month before that smelled like urine and decided to spend a little more on Magnuson. While it wasn't fancy, it was clean and very comfortable. The pool area is excellent and we retreated from scorching cedar point sun in afternoon for a break at the pool. (it was heaven!) They don't include breakfast... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and believe me if there was another hotel to get into I would have left ASAP. This by far is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was disgustingly filthy. There is no way they clean the rooms. Couldn't even shower because it was so dirty. Now thats bad! The cleaning service... More

Good sized rooms, attractively priced. And that's it. The hotel is really dated, not maintained well. Dingy carpets. The bar in the lobby was way too loud to even hope to get a good night's rest. Whatever cleaner is used smells corrosive. Don't recommend.

Spent two nights here for a trip to Cedar Point (July 14-16). The hotel is a former Days Inn and even though our room showed some age it was still clean, comfortable and very affordable. It was everything we needed for a theme park stay, a decent place to shower and sleep lol. The hotel is only a couple miles... More
