This was our second stay at the Inn. We knew what we were looking for in a short Lake Erie stay and remembered our previous stay here. Jerry and Eileen were very hospitable and professional. We stayed in room 7 which is adjacent to the lagoon. Our room was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned and we got exactly what we...

My wife and I stayed at the Five Bells Inn adjacent to Lake Erie during the "Biggest Week in American Birding." The hospitality of our hosts was great. They provided early breakfast (6:30 a.m.) for us and other birders. The grounds are very attractive and well-kept. There is an active Bald Eagle nest on the property, as well as a...

The web site did not explain that there is a main house and two add'l cottages. One has 3sep. Rooms and the other is the fam. cot. We chose (against better judgement) the fam cott for convenience. It had a very moldy smell and the shower was not mildew free. The owners were very friendly, but they really need to...

Even though we didn't fit their typical "romantic couple" customer profile, Jerry and Eileen welcomed my sisters, our families and me without a quibble. The breakfasts were tasty, the rooms were comfy, clean and nicely decorated, and the Jarcs were wonderful hosts. The setting was lush and beautiful, with shade trees and flowers and lots of great places to sit...

We reserved a room for four nights in June. Talking to the owner on the phone and looking at the information on their website would lead you to believe this is the perfect place for a romantic get-away. After a 10.5 hour drive, we arrived and were greeted by the owners and shown to our "room" - a dirty duplex/bungalow...

My husband and I were very excited to stay at this bed and breakfast. Unfortunately, our stay was completely sub-par, mostly due to room cleanliness. The room we stayed in smelled of dust and mold. Everything in the room was worn out and dusty, including the sheets...to the point where we were extremely uncomfortable to sleep in the bed. The...
