I don't exactly remember the month and year that we stayed there but I remembered the memories and the warm welcome that we received from the owner couple. Everyday fresh baked muffins and brewing coffee awesome 😍

I recently stayed with my extended family - we had the run of the place with six of the seven rooms. The property allowed for us to grill and the play a little kick ball. It was a treat to have the kids sit with us to watch the gorgeous sunsets over the lake as well. The breakfast menu was...

After informing them I was diabetic the only breakfast items offered were pancakes, a coffee cake, sliced fruit and cheap coffee. No eggs, sausage or bacon or protein of any type, not what I've come to expect from a bed and breakfast. Also the room and entire hotel was very dated and needed dusting. Mold on the plastic shower curtain...

Tom, thank you for your honest review. We are always working to keep our facilities up to date and have made major improvements to almost every part of the Inn in our time here. We find that the VCRs in each room provide an extra entertainment option for guests on rainy days or unwinding after a day in the sun!...

My women's group from church stayed here for a night away. It was a wonderful time. The hosts were wonderful and we felt right at home. The breakfast had fresh fruit, fresh-baked bread and pancakes. The grounds were lovely and we especially enjoyed sitting by the lake and hanging out in the hot tub. I would definitely stay there again.

Room 8, facing the lagoon. We (wife, 3 yr old daughter & I) were skeptical at choosing a B&B, but went with a great recommendation from a friend. We were surprised by the great welcome. The hosts, Eileen and Jerry took utmost care to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely go back at the very next...

We truly appreciate your honest feedback... we are constantly working to make our suites as clean and comfortable as possible. This year, we've battled record-high rainfalls - and being near a protected wetland area - we recognize that moisture is our constant enemy, and we do try very hard to eliminate odors in the rooms. We appreciate your comments on...

This is my second visit to Five Bells Inn. I stayed last year on a visit to Catawba Island and was so pleased that I referred some friends who were also coming to Catawba. I stayed in room 4 upstairs the sunflower room. Its beautifully decorated and has a nice cozy feeling to the room. We were able to enjoy...

Felt welcome from the minute we stepped in the door. The whole house is very warm and inviting. Our room, on the upper level, had a wonderful view of Lake Erie. It was very spacious with a private bathroom. Across the road, you could sit and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. I would highly recommend staying at Five...

Thank you for visiting the Five Bells Inn. We are sorry that your visit was not a positive experience. We try our best to make sure that our accommodations are clean and comfortable for guests. Thought we were staying in a beautiful old house. When we arrived in the evening...exhausted, we were escorted out to a dank, musty, little building out behind the house next to a large swampy, buggy pond. The place smelled horribly of mildew. Immediately my allergies started going crazy and sinuses draining. Dirty carpet, old and dusty decor, spongy floors, an antiquated TV,...

Hello - We apologize that your experience with the Five Bells Inn was not a good one. We realize that the nearby wetlands and Lake Erie, while scenic, do bring some bugs!
