Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

WOW!! what a lovely quiet peaceful little park nestled along side the Brunswick River. Lived permanently at the Caravan park in a self contained Onsuite with own shower/toilet, loved every bit of it. Trains were a pain at first waking me up all hours of the night, but ya actually get used to it, and in time they become ya alarm clock for work. Peter the care taker is a trooper and has a sense of humour😂 and the owners are such helpful caring people who go out of there way to meet your needs 👏👏 Would recommend this park to anyone who like me drive past everyday and thought, wonder what that parks like!! Summertime is the best 😎

The management was awful. She is very rude and abrupt with no people skills at all. Visitor car space is grass that is so muddy, wet and flooded with inadequate drainage. Trains all night. Showers disgusting with shower heads full of calcium they spray everywhere and very unclean. Would not stay again or recommend.

Well it looks good with the river to swim (popular with locals) and kayak in, trees and nearby tavern and IGA nearby. However, the the site is mostly full of long-term van residents with some van hardstands for visitors and some grass for tents next to one of the commercial rail lines. The railways are busy night and day as is the nearby main road so be prepared for some noise. The owner/managers are not the friendliest to be quite honest and can be abrupt if they suspect an additional car or person on site, heaven forbid, even if not the case! The ablutions are not the cleanest and need modernising. Public toilets over the river are better kept. I paid $70 per night for my tent for two adults and my two sons also (over 18yrs) with one powered tent, pretty steep for one tent I think. Overall, adequate, very noisey, cramped but nice location. I’ll not return to the campsite. Tavern and IGA were lovely and very friendly

The park itself is well maintained and clean but is the worst location I have ever stayed at. We were 20m from the train line and there is 45 movements per day (all day and night). At night you felt like the trains ran through the van itself. In its favour is the proximity to the Tavern and the Bowling Club and the community pool in the river is right there. Pity about the trains.

Dropped in On a whim , just happened to be passing by and decided to give it a go, what a lovely little park, was given a nice little spot right on the water as we had a large campervan, looks like the park is being worked on and improved...some people might be bothered by the trains as they are right next to the park but it didn’t bother us at all, loud music is what annoys us and there was none of that..old but spotless clean ablutions ...friendly place and great swimming in the river because it was quite hot...pleasantly surprised by this park..would visit it again...and the cabins look cute too.

Just a gorgeous spot to visit. Plenty of space for kids to roam and beautiful views. We spoke with the new owners and the are adding in more and more attractions for kids. It is right next to the train line but it really didn't bother us. The amenities are old but well maintained. We will definitely be visiting again.
