We had an amazing time at Ravenwood! It was perfect for getting away and having quality family fun. We played Pathfinder in the library, chess on the huge outdoor board (knee-high pawns) and explored the grounds and nearby Hocking Hills Park (Ash Cave was our favorite). The pub in the castle is great for hanging out by the fire and...

We absolutely loved this place. We were only passing through, so we stayed just one night in the Queen Victoria room that is actually in the castle. The caretakers were friendly, helpful and more than accommodating in every way. My husband is a "gamer", so this was right up his alley. The decor, the books, the games, the lighting -...

I've stayed twice at Ravenwood Castle-- once for the summertime board games gathering, "Con in the Castle" and last February for their "Hoop & Stick" con, which raises money for Extra Life. Both stays were full of fun, good food, and beauty-- the Castle and its grounds are lovely and hiking in the Hocking Hills is amazing. Definitely one of...

Most importantly, the staff did a great job! Right away, they gave a tour and told us about everything that was available at the castle. They were friendly, helpful and courteous throughout the weekend. Between the 7 of us, we had several rooms including the Clock Tower, which had a phenomenal king size bed upstairs and a sauna tub. They...

My husband and I went to Ravenwood Castle for a board game convention/ fundraiser for Extra Life. This was our second year going and we LOVED the experience both years. We got there really early and the staff opened up the kitchen and Amy cooked just for us, outside their usual hours and refused a tip. They were the sweetest,...

This bed and breakfast is as advertised... an interestingly themed destination. They are aff the beaten path for sure (which I appreciate) and WiFi is not available. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful although we did have an issue with the room we stayed in which was adjacent to the very noisy pub. Under different circumstances it would not have...

The SO and I booked a single night at Ravenwood Castle for our anniversary, and immediately regretted that we didn't book another. We stayed in one of the cozy cabins down the way in the Huntsman Hollow, though we loved the decor inside the castle proper so much we decided that next time we'd choose a room inside. The manager...

My partner and I decided to go to Ravenwood for a Valentine's Day getaway. It's was amazing!!!! If I could give more stars I would. The staff is amazing. We arrived very late due to class schedules. We arrived close to midnight and the inn keeper greeted us very warmly. He gave us a complete tour of the castle and...

Yes, a castle in Hocking Hills Ohio - out in the middle of nowhere. There for you to enjoy rooms in the Castle, or in little cottages nearby. Fun. Private. Lots of books, DVD's, and games to entertain you (or your family).

We visited the castle in October of 2014 and gave it five stars at the time. Unfortunately, from our perspective, this visit was not as successful. My husband and I are avid board gamers, and invited another couple to spend the weekend at the castle with us for gaming. If you are not a gamer, your mileage may vary. We...

Thank you for visiting us at Ravenwood Castle, and for taking the time to leave us a review. Thank you for noticing the new cottages since your last visit, and the other improvements and renovations we are making. We have put a lot of effort over the last few years into continuously improving the facility, and it is great to...
