We had a very pleasant stay during our 5nights. We stayed in the tent sites. However the site we had wasn't the greatest. i think it was 85, when that sun comes up in the morning it bakes the site. The site its self just isn't very well shaded. Not the owners fault, it is what it is. They even...

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the beach. The grounds were very clean and well maintained including the restrooms. Our daughter enjoyed the outdoor movie and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. You can tell that they love what they do... They even helped us out by jumping our car😀👍🏻.

I enjoyed my stay at Happy Hills. I ran into some issues with reservations/cancellations because I first went to Serenity, then decided I did not want to stay there and showed up at Happy Hills (same owners). The owners agreed to move my reservations from one to the other, which I appreciated. Since we were tent camping, the weather ended...

Lois had sent us an email about this prior to putting this review out, here was my email response to her email. She also left without paying for 4 bundles of firewood and candy bars, $22. Thanks for sharing this information. We greatly appreciate it. It has been a challenge with this weather to get things up and running at...

This campground could be great. The sites are decent sized. The restrooms are not immaculate as touted. They aren't the worst, but certainly not the best. To take a shower in the ladies room, you push a button which provides a certain length of time for water. The problem wasn't the length of time, because you could push the button...

My husband and I really enjoyed this campground. There was plenty of shade, a short walk to the shower house, and lots of amenities. I appreciated how much I saw the owner, checking on the sites and the campground. The pool is a little bit of a hike but worth it. The campground was quiet and peaceful. The paddleboats and...

On the plus side, the campground is very quiet and secluded. The lake is clean and beautiful. On the down side, the women's restrooms were not cleaned regularly while we were there. The garbage was consistently overflowing and being dragged all over which made it even dirtier. The pool is behind the owner's house which made me a little uncomfortable,...

We can not allow our campers to put their own personal kayaks or boats on our lake for 2 reasons, our insurance will not cover it and also we take great pride in our lake and do not want to have to shut it down because of Algae brought into it from another lake in Ohio. I think most people...

Had a great time. Quit and peaceful. Clean. Plenty to see and do. Pond was nice for fishing. An emu even wandered through the camp grounds. The tall trees and grass made the stay great. Not many seasonal campers at Happy Hills.

I think this is a work in progress. The owner was very nice. Yes, the pool is in the back of the owners house but it was nice, clean and the grandkids loved it. We went kayaking and paddle boating. The bathhouse is large and clean. A lot of work going on to improve this campground. Quiet and nice family...

Lots of kids and dogs, but surprisingly nice and quiet. The lots are shaded so it was nice and relaxing to sit outside and enjoy a camp fire. It is in a great location, nestled between several state parks, close to a bike path and plenty of hiking opportunities. Also a great area for motorcycle riding. We didn't utilize the...

Overall was satisfied with the camp ground. There were a few things that could've been better but overall it was a great experience. The overall grounds are nice, appear to be a few upgrades/ maintenance projects going on but that makes for a better experience when finished. The pool... It's located at the owners house across the pond. It looks...
