My fiancé and I booked a night while wanting to "get away" from our busy hectic lives and enjoy each others company. We enjoyed our dinner and also the murder mystery show. We were a bit scared when we had received an email from Loretta with a listing of the "acting roles" and were told to pick a role. Neither... More

Our group of four couples has stayed at The Barn Inn for three separate visits. When I stop to think why we all agree to return, it's easy: the owners/hosts go out of their way to ensure that you visit and experience exactly what interests you. We usually begin with relaxed conversation in the living room to catch up on... More

It, again, was our pleasure to serve your group of friends. Of course, we know that your Amish Country get-a-way is as meaningful as the relationships and experiences you have. That is why we are happy to make arrangements such as a meal in the Amish home, as well as giving you information about other stops. We are looking forward... More

We loved our stay at the Barn Inn. The atmosphere of the Barn from it's open beams and large amish quilt in the lobby to the fireplace and hot-tub in the room were just what we were looking for to compliment our visit to amish country in the winter. The inn keepers were so friendly and hospitable: always looking for... More

This was our third annual stay and we look forward to many more. We love the ambiance and the hospitality. It is a romantic and secluded spot with a fabulous homemade breakfast. Loretta's stories are enlightening and interesting and Paul is an exceptional host. We are glad to support a "local" business in our state. I highly recommend for any... More

This was a great place to stay. We had never been to this area and Loretta's talks were extremely helpful and insightful in planning our trips for the weekend. The food was great too. Our room was right off the dining room and I worried that we might hear noise from the kitchen but we didn't. I would definitely stay... More

This is the best bed & breakfast that my wife & I have stayed at. The accomodations are excellent. The breakfast was delicious and Loretta talked about the Amish customs and where to visit in the area. We had a wonderful time and will plan to stay at The Barn Inn again in the future.

We have never stayed at a B&B before. This was the best first we could have wished for. We were treated like old friends. Loretta even "let" my wife make a few Christmas bows with her around the table in the evening. The pair were a wealth of knowledge and helpful suggestions about the area. Their Amish family background make... More

This is the third time that we have stayed at the Barn Inn, and it is still charming. Paul and Loretta are the most gracious of hosts and know the area well and can get you to any thing that you would like to see, plus give you ideas if you aren't sure. The breakfast is amazing!! It is joy... More

The Staff was excellent and provided a great intro to the facility when we first arrived. The Room was OUTSTANDING well decorated and very very comfortable. The FOOD was the best I have had at any B&B. But the insight into the local community was the best. Giving local "hot spots" that not only had good deals but also ones... More

We have visited the area on many occasions but planned a stay with friends who had never ventured into Holmes County. Their daughter found the Barn Inn online and presented them with a gift certificate, so the adventure was on. That chance find brought us to a loving couple, Loretta and Paul, who made you feel like family. The furnishings... More
