We love Hocking Hills State Park and had booked a cabin for fall getaway. I was surprised and delighted to find that our pet-friendly cabin had been nicely updated with modern interior furniture, nice bathroom renovation and best of all new, comfortable mattresses. Although the weather was not very cooperative, the clean fresh interior made our stay very comfortable. We...

My family and I have been visiting Hocking Hills for our family reunion every year for the past 25 years plus. Every year, we reserve these cabin's directly following our stay (1 year in advance) which ensures the family is kept in the same general close-knit vacinity for the duration of our stay each fall. For the past decade, Hocking...

Our hiking group stayed here for a weekend in mid-May. The cabins were better than we had thought….very clean with modern kitchens and pantry, living room, large screened-in porch with picnic table and gas fireplace, flat screen TV. My one room-mate had a hard time sleeping on the twin bed because the mattress was too hard for her comfort level....

We have stayed for our advanced group of students for 3 nights 2 cottages.I m not sure how old the beds but Mattresses are very uncomfortable. I had a back pain when I woke up.I saw they renovate some of the cottages. I hope they can finish all cottages soon. The nature is great. It is a Must see place. We have...

We stayed in cabin 25 for two nights. The beds were awful; like sleeping on a board. The cabin itself was quite nice and had everything we needed for a weekend visit. Loved the screened in porch and the food at the lodge was very good. The location was perfect and it was reasonably priced. We visited all six attractions...

we just stayed here and we had three cabins lined up for our family trip. all of them had huge spiders in them. I am not exaggerating when I say huge. if they would spider bomb their cabins I might stay here again but not likely because of that one reason. other than that it was a great place and...

We've stayed at several Ohio state park cabins at Punderson, Mohican, Buck Creek and now Hocking Hills so we knew what to expect. There are many nicer pet friendly cabins in the Hocking Hills area but none available the weekend we needed and all are significantly more expensive. We stayed in cabin 3 which is pet friendly (and smelled slightly...

we rented only because we could bring a dog. It is basic, and I mean basic. Beds were awful, might want to bring some type of mattress top. my husband and I are not small anymore and a double bed was just undoable most nights lol the back screened porch was very nice with a view, all in all I...

Oh how I wish I had found these reviews before we went. Just want to say that this is a beautiful area with wonderful hiking trails, this just wasn't the place for us. I understand it is a state park and you're in the area to enjoy the outdoors. We've stayed at numerous state & national parks, so I wasn't...

My husband and I stayed here with my parents and sister last weekend. First, the positive: - Great location, very close to all of the hiking in the park - Screened patio worked well at keeping the bugs out and letting us still enjoy sitting outside - 2 bedrooms, could easily accommodate 4 people - Gas fireplace - Flat screen...
