I really wanted to give this more than 3 but there is more things that should improve . Caroline the owner does a good job , she keeps up with having a clean home and nice breakfast ( fresh fruit, pastries , cereal , juice, coffee ( not a fan of decaf) not bad though! Make sure when you book...

My wife and I spent the weekend here upon a referral from friends. The location, accommodations ( try the Look-out), and the owner Carolyn were all very nice. Its within walking distance to downtown, and has a great view of the lake. Fyi- we figured out soon that the owner Carolyn is hard of hearing, once we spoke loud, we...

My husband and I booked here to meet up with friends. Caroline was more than accommodating, sweet and the best ever. When we arrived it was storming and she drove to pick us up. Our room was immaculate, breakfast and coffee available at 7am and continental breakfast was perfect!! The room and linens were clean and we had a great...

Other reviews are accurate. The owner was rude and dismissive on the phone, but thought it was possibly just the time of day. She was not welcoming and continued to be rude during out entire stay. Do not recommend staying here!

My husband and I made a decision to stay up on Kelley's Island two weeks before going (my daughter was on PIB for a bachelorette party and we were to pick her up and bring her back to our house on Sunday). We have always preferred Kelley's Island and with short notice did not have many options for B&Bs. We...

My husband and I arrived at the house after walking from the ferry in the cold rain and the first thing this lady said was that she was ready to collect. We introduced ourselves and expected a friendly welcome and tour of the house, at the very least to be shown our room, but instead she was extremely dismissive and...

The owner was quick to take my money when we first got there. She did not show us where the bathroom was or towels to shower. Our room was not air conditioned. This is a lady's house and we literally walked into her private kitchen. Very awkward experience. Poor service. Wasn't sure when the breakfast was or where even. I...

Owner is cold and rude, quick to collect money before you even see the room. Did not speak to us unless we tried to initiate friendly conversation even then she was rude and dismissive. Conveniently didn't tell us that the two rollaway beds in our room couldn't be used. One would assume if they are in your room, you can...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Lakeshore Landing. We had an upstairs room with a private bath. The owner was very gracious, we could come and go as we pleased, she said the doors were never locked. She recently had the house zoned for heating/cooling and she said if we were ever uncomfortable to let her know....
