My hope is that the owners of A Water's Edge Retreat read this and understand this feedback is being left in the spirit of wanting to help them improve the experience for future visitors. We recently stayed at A Water's Edge for the weekend. The room we originally had was double-booked, and one of the owners messaged me to offer... More

What a great place to stay for a nice getaway. A fun ferry ride to this island for land lubbers. This is a very nice Bed & Breakfast right by the water and facing back at the mainland - you can see Cedar Point. Very clean, well kept, well appointed. Our room was spacious and comfortable - relaxing. The breakfast... More

My wife and I stayed in the Charles Lawrence for our 7th anniversary (and her birthday) on a weekend getaway to end the summer. The room was great. It was very clean, spacious, comfortable, romantic, etc. We loved everything about our stay here. The hosts are very friendly, available, and accommodating. Not to mention, they cook a fantastic breakfast. We... More

We could not have a better way of introducing guests from Arizona to the best Ohio has to offer. Easy to find, right on the water's edge, with a lovely view from each room, a magnificent breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. So much better than the best hotel you can think of, with delightful snacks waiting when you... More

In is actually not an old Victorian but a house designed to look like a "Painted Lady". Rooms were quiet, adequate, and had individual bathrooms. Porch and dock across the street on the lake are inviting restful spots. Parking is constrained to the drive way of the inn, lots and on-street parking is not available. Kelley's Island is more laid... More

We stayed here the weekend of September 16th. It's a beautifully decorated Victorian. The room was clean, the hosts were friendly and helpful. They offer free wi-fi and a wide variety of channels on the TV in the room. They have two little dogs Ginger and Honey who are adorable. They offered a wide variety of food at breakfast (and... We had a great weekend at The Water's Edge in late July. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide selection of fresh fruit, eggs Benedict, potato pancakes (our favorite), crepes, muffins, breads... Beth and Tim were warm and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very clean and had everything we needed. It really couldn't have been any nicer.... More

Absolutely would go back, friendly staff and wonderful owners. They sat and chatted with us, gave us a little history of the place, would recommend to family and friends for sure. Breakfast was outstanding! Room was quiet and comfortable.

My wife and I stayed two nights. The B&B is a beautiful, charming home. The hosts are very hospitable and friendly. It is right on the water, with a lake front deck where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at sunset. (Which we did, and saw an eagle fly directly over... More

We spent two nights with Tim and Beth at the resort. We were greeted at the door when we arrived and given a tour of the amenities which were many. We found the room to be comfortable and spacious and the linens were fresh. There were snacks provided in the afternoon and ice and water were supplied. The breakfast exceptional... More
