The hotel is in Werribee Park close to the Zoo & Rose Gardens. The rooms are smallish but adequate. Very comfy bed. Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Staff very friendly & efficient. Would definitely recommend.

I was involved in organising a conference here recently and cannot speak more highly of the team running the conference venue. Joy, Kirstie and Megan were so thorough but also incredibly patient and flexible. It was also an impressive venue and I look forward to returning for a holiday.

Stunning hotel, beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool and spa perfect, grounds and mansion definitely worth exploring - flying foxes in the gardens. Stayed in a two room suite for the four of us, luxurious and perfect. Had to move to a heritage queen for the last night as suite booked but still beautifully comfortable. Great atmosphere - excellent food. Highly recommend.

A trip away on the school holidays with my 15yr old daughter. We spent the afternoon in the gardens, touring the mansion and smelling roses. A quick swim and steam room before dinner. Steam room was warm but not steamy, management advised they would look into it. Lovely dinner at the bar, good vegetarian options. Then we did a night walk around the mansion. Quite spooky, would've loved some history to read along the way. So nice walking around when the crowds have gone. A game of pool upstairs before a very peaceful night's sleep. Comfy huge beds. Only heard noise in the morning with kids running around, but it was school holidays. Great buffet breakfast before a big day at the zoo next door.

Have stayed a few times now, always a wonderful experience, spa wing always a highlight, rooms are beautiful, the king size in superior rooms is legitimately the best I've slept, garden surrounds wonderful for a stroll or picnic, can't recommend enough!

BEAUTIFUL dining, rooms, beds, interiors, architecture, pool and GARDENS. I hardly see that anyone could be possibly disappointed. I was with my family attending a nearby equestrian event and sadly we didn’t get the opportunity to visit the adjacent zoo.

On arrival we found broken and loose paving tiles at the entry and bird droppings and dirt all over the steps and entry. Waiting in a neighbouring lounge we sat amongst Emory cups and glasses left on a table we tried to sit at. Very little attention to cleaning it to our own coffee order. Cups and plates were sat in the bar and we had to ask for a tray and to have the area cleaned. This encouraged us to eat in the local restaurants away from the Lancemore Joseph’s restaurant. Accommodation was clean and nicely prepared. Other areas and service let a lot to be desired.

We didn’t stay but we had High Tea at Joseph’s Restaurant and found it be a most enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Our waitress Renee was delightful and made us feel very welcome. The wine and English Breakfast tea was continuously replenished.

The stay was memorable and worth it. The staff on arrival were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure our luggage made it up to our room. The room itself was very clean and maintained. The restaurant staff were accommodating and the food was phenomenal. It was overall a great experience and I highly recommend to anyone who is seeking a relaxing weekend away.
