We stayed in room 6. Lovely cottages and Mim was amazing. What a lovely lady. Bed was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything you need for an overnight stay. Very short walk in to town which is always a bonus. Who knew Werribee could be so nice?

We attended a wedding at a local winery and needed accommodation for the night. What a charming place to stay. We were in cottage no. 1. The decor is delightful with a lovely, cosy ambience. The bedroom was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was just as cute and very clean. There is a lovely room for guests to...

We stayed in room 6 (Forsythia Cottage) for one night recently on a visit to Werribee Mansion and Werribee Open Range Zoo. I was impressed there was not a minimum 2+ night stay as our visit coincided with the school holiday period. Our room was immaculately clean and the beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows, cushions and beautiful linen....

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. We were greeted very warmly by the owner who settled is in. Comfortable beds, ample pillows and full catering facilities. I felt like I was at home and not in rented accommodation. A lovely place to stay.

I stayed in the Garden room deluxe cottage for 3 nights over Christmas 2015. The amenities were very suitable, clean and fresh. My only criticism is too much light in the bedroom, I sleep in complete darkness. The location of Carter Cottages to the main precinct of the CBD is very handy for the shopper. The owner and Manager, Mim,...

We stayed at Carter Cottages for 4 days, 3 nights recently. I must say the people were lovely, the rooms clean and I cannot fault the service in any way! However I have simply never stayed anywhere more noisy in my entire life. Being a cottage I thought this meant we had a cottage to ourselves however there was a...

The host Mim was friendly and helpful, the location central, bed extra comfy and all amenities we required for our stay were provided. Traffic noise is loud at times but did not bother us. What a shame this was all overshadowed by the stained carpet in the hall and bedroom and the dirty mats in the kitchen. It really dampened...

Hello Pamela, Thank you for your feedback and time to write your review. I appreciate your comments about the stained carpet, we have steam cleaned that carpet many times and unfortunately the stains will not come out. It is difficult to keep carpets clean when you are catering for many people. We have thought of removing the carpet and having...

A couple of years ago we were lucky to stay in these cottages and have actually been back and visited friends when they stayed there on our recommendation earlier this year.
