Great service on arrival, check in seamless and easy, great local knowledge advising of dinner options being midweek. Room very clean with great sea views. Only problem was we couldn’t stay longer. Parking was easy right outside our unit.

We stayed here overnight on a driving trip down the east coast of Tasmania. Very conveniently located hotel on the way. Our family room was on the 1st floor with great views over the water, Room was quite basic which is what we expected. Bathroom needs some renovations - the lino was peeling up in places and water leaking out from the shower in one section. The balcony overlooking the water was wonderful. Parking right at the front door which was great. Be prepared food wise when you come into town as almost nothing open (was over Easter when we visited so had checked this out prior to coming). Make sure you take a walk down to the beach and along to the Loontitetermairrelehoiner Track around the headland, and to the Swansea cemetery. All in all, we were happy with our stay here although the motel could do with some updating. …

Clean but very dated. Bathroom vanity light/ heated didn’t work. Mirror in bathroom needed replacing. Mirror in main room had a huge crack. Had plates, curtly etc, tea towel which was great but no detergent or shower gel. Towels were good and room was warm when we arrived (heater on) which was great on a cold day. Paid for a waterview, but was overpriced for the quality. Was more of a motel than motor inn as there was no restaurant onsite, but had microwave and toaster.

The room had everything we needed for an overnight stay with convenient parking. The internet worked and we were able to arrive after hours with no problems. Very comprehensive information folder that added to our ideas for the next part of our trip.

Clean, comfortable and in a good location albeit quite dated. In need of a makeover and some much needed basic maintenance e.g. light switch not working. Plenty of parking. Easy to check in/out. Walking distance to ocean, shops, eateries. Easy headland walk close by. Golf course walking distance.

I spent two nights here on a road tour of E Tasmania. this was one of the better places I stayed at, being clean with quite spacious accommodation. Good view. Free parking and wi-fi. Would have been better had breakfast been on offer. The town is small and eating places (well ones that were open in the evening) were indeed few.

Swansea is a gorgeous coastal township. The Motor Inn is perfectly situated by the sea. The views if the jetty, people fishing, waves crashing, storms rolling in, is majestic. We stayed in a ground level room with ensuite suitable for 3 people. We had a lovely verandah facing the ocean. The motel is older but is charming and spotlessly clean. The hosts are friendly and informative on the local area. We would definitely recommend to future travellers.

Great views from the motel. The seaview room is great with a nice view of the bay. Some renovations have been made to the bathroom. There is a nice spacious balcony with a garden. There is parking right outside the door. A really nice place to stay for the night

Awesome outlook with excellent hosts accommodating our questions and helpful with extras incl bbq overlooking the water. Would recommend highly as a great location to unwind and enjoy east coast. Lovely seaside town with not much happening before 10am accept to relax.
