Wish I had read trip advisor before phoning ahead to secure accommodation. We stayed in Amos House - poky rooms, bathrooms you can barely turn around in - creaky floorboards, dated decor, only double beds, limited sea view - although it boasted better - limited power points, small TV - and those shush signs everywhere. Still not sure why an... More

We had gone through an exhausting day of hiking at Wineglass Bay (and driving from Port Arthur) so it was nice to arrive and just crash here. Not a top hotel by any means, but comfy, well located, nice water views from some rooms (ours). Nice and close to eateries and shops. The owner was very friendly and helpful with... More

We stayed in the main building where the bed was like a marshmallow - very uncomfortable - the room has a balcony with an amazing view but unfortunately the lit up hotel sign attracted every but in the city, making it impossible to sit out there. The owner was a nice enough bloke but the I would give the hotel... More

..Unlike Hotel California you can checkout AND leave. This is the worst place I have ever stayed by a orders of magnitude. The room was nothing like what was described, and the owner blamed that on expedia. We had to upgrade to get something that wasn't a shoebox with paper thin walls. The owner had a foul attitude, there room... More

This property is run down, signs everywhere in the villa with do's and don'ts. Another tells you that the rooms are not serviced unless you stay 3 nights. Another says that the tea making products are complimentary but once they are gone, buy your own !! Then there's the one that says put everything back in the same place you... More

There was a staircase leading to rooms 9-15 that were in no way safe to climb with luggage. The doorway leading to the staircase was hard to get around as the door went as far as the first step. To get out the door you had to stand on the first step to open door so you can get out.... More

Should have read rip advisor reviews before we booked in here . Was quoted price for room with two single beds but when we asked to see room was advised we don't do that . Should have pulled out then . Room was clean but extra small and bathroom was equivalent size to that on cruise ship .You expect it... More

Rooms are very old and small. Smelly everywhere, rooms and hallway too. Smell like they hiding a dead body somewhere. I can not say one thing nice about the property. cupboard size rooms no table no chair.

Stayed one night with our friends, asked on arrival if we could see the rooms only to be told that they don't do that. I know why, most people would probably go to the next Motel. Lots of signs, do this, don't do that, paper thin walls. The room was clean, tidy and tired. Paid $135 for the night which... More
