Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for 3 nights. Great ocean views from your own private balcony. Friendly and helpful hosts. Neat clean and tidy. Quiet area in a small town. Aircon and heating available. Microwave and toaster also.

Arrived at night and couldn't get the key to work in the door. Climbed the staircase in the dark as the light didn't work.....it was hard to find our room in such a dimly lit space.....we eventually stumbled in. Very small room ..... it had all the creature comforts of somewhere awful. No soaps, shampoo nothing....bedside lamp didn't work. Everytime someone walked along the hall you could hear their footsteps and voices. To top it off the room fan sounded like an oncoming train.......it was laughable.

The location is fantastic and the rooms are nice and well maintained. They're a little bit small but ok. What really bothered me was the bed which was totally dreadful. It was saggy and very uncomfortable, couldn't get a very good sleep. Otherwise I would rate 4 stars. The windows looking straight out to sea were great.

Three of us for one nights stay here in Swansea. The apartment was clean and simply furnished with one queen bed in one room and twin beds in the other, exactly what we needed. There’s a kitchen if you wanted to self cater and one bathroom. There’s a deck area on ground floor and a balcony with the queen room. In all it was fine for what we needed, a short walk to the beach, IGA and the rich shop or RSL.

We stayed in this villa for two nights . Absolutely very unfriendly reception . We paid $477 . Complementary soap, shampoo and conditioner were of the cheapest quality . The shampoo and conditioner tubes were filled with just water! That was so insulting. They were so very insufficient . When we went to asked them we were given a cold unfriendly stare and were pointed towards the IGA next door . IGA closes at 7 and did not have a travel size of toiletries. So we were forced to by normal size which might go waste. Very old building , no rule book, no wifi , no brochures or info of local attractions and no welcoming note either . Overall very poor Service for a 4 star villa and would never ever recommend to any one

We stayed here for 1 night & would not recommend this place to anyone. Firstly there were stairs to get to our room on the 1st floor. When you pressed the button for the light at night time it went before I had made it up the stairs [ I have 2 forms of arthritis which make climbing stairs difficult]. I had asked for rooms with no stairs when booking all the hotels. Also the was no light around the corner where our rooms was & very dark which made it hard to see where lock for the key was. The mattress was terrible, it felt like the springs were gone as it sank down. No chair in the room, bathroom was way too small. It felt like we were in a small box. the cleanliness of the room wasn't the best. I have worked in housekeeping so I know what to look for in rooms. There was nothing we likes about Swansea Villas. We stayed in budget hotels before that are a 100% better than this one.

For a one-night stay is ok. Cabin is very tiny and small, especially the toilet area. The noise barrier between the different rooms are bad too. Check-in and check-out procedures are smooth and simple.

Stayed in the motel section for 1 night, just as a base to travel to Freycinet National Park. Room is very small as is the bathtoom, however contains all you need. If you are staying longer than 1night, I would suggest staying in the villas or somewhere else with more space. Very close to the beach.

Stayed here for two nights, didn’t want to stay the second but were too late back from a cruise to find somewhere else. The room is very pokey, just a bed, nowhere to sit other than on the bed or outside on a tiny balcony. AND IT SMELLS. Not sure what of, in another review says it is Turkish cigarettes. The carpet also feels sticky. The bathroom is very small with nowhere to put anything. At least the water was hot. I was also refused extra tea bags as we didn’t get our room serviced and wanted some for the second night. Apparently they are “complimentary only” which I understand, but I have never ever been refused a teabag. Very unpleasant experience, would not recommend to anyone. Only wish I had read reviews before we booked. Lesson learned!!!!!!
