The rooms are dated but clean and the view is wonderful.
No Smoking rules should be stronger, people in room next door smoked on the balcony, we had to close our balcony doors to stop the smoke coming in our room.
I just can't recommend this place, the restaurant prices were were too high, drinks crazy, $11.50 for a small glass of house wine
Please do not go expecting 2021 anything and you will not be disappointed.
Very clean and amazingly well maintained for its age. We stayed in the King room which was huge. By the way what is that contraption above the bathroom sink???
The room was luxuriously spacious and had everything we needed. The decor suits the style of the Inn and definitely adds to the experience.
There is also a restaurant on site (it was actually under our room), which served incredible food and wine. We had a long lunch and then retired upstairs for a spa bath. It was devine!
The owners have sensibly maintained the seventies vernacular in the furnishings and fittings while adding contemporary luxury.
The accommodation was impeccably clean and very comfortable for an extended stay and a chance to sample the renowned in house restaurant or the many other eateries that Swansea has to offer.
Make sure to book in peak season though, every table was filled!
The story we were told by our hosts at Meredith House (see seperate review) was that the Chef was off a super yacht owned by a very prominent Australian with interests in gambling.
All local produce, menu offerings are produce dependent. The oysters are local, big fat juicy and salty.
We pate, and steak frites to die for, front of house recommend shared plates which is the way to go.
"spa room suitable for wheelchairs as there were grab rails and a separate flat floor shower in the bathroom and extra room in the bedroom."Read full review
