Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

we have just returned from a 6 night stay at this lovely caravan park. We camped on an unpoweres site and found the park suited our needs perfectly. The showers were the best caravan park showers we have ever come across and all facilities were clean and accessible. Children loved the playground and riding their bikes. The location was great, short walk into town centre and takeway shop across road. Each access a plus. Staff were very helpful when we arrived and found another camper parked on our site. Great COVID contactless check in. We will be back!!!

Very comfortable cabin, great value for money. Location very convenient - back onto the beach, walking distance to the IGA, & a few min to the main street in foreshore.
Very quiet and cabin very clean.
Beds were quite comfortable, kitchen well appointed (good number of pot/pans etc, except no sponge or tea towel), shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water.
Easy check in and out. Helpful staff in person and on phone, although not responsive within booking app.
Highly recommend for families!

We stayed on Powered Beach Site 1. The sites were separated by a hedge and were quite level. Easy access to beach at the back of this area. The amenities were nice and clean with great hot showers. The grounds were clean and well maintained. They sold firewood and filled gas bottles (yeh! no swap and go where you get an old battered gas bottle). The check-in is all done via text and they were very accommodating with our arrival time. Park is in a great location with an easy walk back into the township of Strahan for the boat cruises, bit of a longer walk to the wilderness train.

We decided to book a quick short stay in Strahan and found the Strahan Beach Tourist Park. We were pleasantly surprised by the location and quality of the family cabin accommodation. We have stayed in similar holiday parks around Australia but this was by far and away one of the cleanest and neatest cabins we have had the pleasure of staying in. It was also very well kitted out. Strahan has many accommodation options but we will return to stay on our next visit.

We rocked up late one afternoon during the rain looking for an unpowered site for the night. Very accomodating, found a spot of grass that wasn’t too wet and checked us in quickly over the phone. Amenities were great and clean! We have been camping all over Tasmania (free camping and caravan parks) and these were by far the cleanest and best amenities we have used. So nice to have a hot shower. Great service. Would recommend.

Room Tip: Not too big a park so can be crowded if busy but wasn’t when we were there

We rang up last night at 7:40pm as our initial accommodation fell through and desperately needed somewhere to stay. We didn't think it would be too much of a bother due to their facebook page stating that they're always open and available. We rang up and the lady who answered the phone was disgustingly rude. She opened with "Are you serious? Do you realise what the time is? I was asleep". To which we then continued to apologise and ask how much it would cost per tent to stay in there the night. She then stated "oh for christ sake. Fine. Just drive in and we can sort your payment out in the f**king morning", and hung up on us. We didn't end up staying in there due to how uncredibly rude and disrespectful this piece was on the phone. To anyone who is in desperate need of somewhere to stay the night if your original accommodation falls through, the 24 hour caravan park is not the place as they evidently go to bed at 6pm every night and you will be yelled at over the phone.

The cabin we were in had been constructed as a nice timber holiday home. However maintenance is overdue. The ramp to the front door is saggy and soft underfoot, which took some getting used to. The disabled access shower was in an open bathroom with a shower curtain. The shower drain was on one side of the room, but the whole room tilted in the opposite direction so the shower water pooled around the base of the toilet and under the sink. But saving the best to last...BLACK MOULD throughout. Not recommended.

They provide for everything - fully kitted kitchen and BBQ, the toilets and showers are excellent and clean, and has a laundry with dryer. I especially appreciated their attention to detail, a full size fridge, tea towels, and cooking utensils. We will be back again.

Contactless check in..lady was lovely..this was the end of the good stuff! Cabin was filthy and unsafe (mould) and hadn’t been cleaned properly for a while! It smelt and the bunk beds mattresses were that thin my daughter could feel the slats through them when she sat down on them. We promptly left for somewhere else to stay....we were contacted by management so I sent the pics to explain why we didn’t stay....no apology and we weren’t charged. An absolute disgrace that people in the accomodation business think this is an acceptable level of service. Pics should tell the story! Never again!!

Affordable accomodation in a great location! This Tourist park was very easy to find. Our cabin was clean & tidy. Shower cubicle was spacious but the basin wherein to wash your hands was tiny which made it awkward. Quick & easy to get to places from here. Staff were very friendly & welcoming
