There are a number of different options in Strahan Village complex. We paid a bit extra stayed in a water view room in the Gordan wing. Worth it. We'd stayed in one of the cheaper rooms in the past and wouldn't recommend them. The rooms in this wing are relatively modern and a good size. The large cupboard that used...

Easy to book and easy to check in. This delightful accommodation lived up to expectations.rooms were clean , modern and spacious.cost was reasonable.rooms were high on the hill overlooking Strahan harbour and views were spectacular. Only problem with Strahan is that Optus has no coverage in this area but the village do give free wifi provided you gave coverage with...

Stayed here as part of coach tour so only stayed one night. The buffet was excellent with prawns, oysters, salmon, meats, vegetables, salads. This was the best meal we had on our tour and breakfast was just as good with a wide choice of cereals, hot food, pancakes and fruit. Our room was ok, large and clean but we had...

We had a room upstairs from the ice cream shop. While the room looked nice and bathroom was beautiful looking, there was a sewerage/mouldy smell that wasn't pleasant. We enquired about car club discount, but did not receive it because we didn't book direct with the hotel, which we would have done had we realised.

We were offered a 'Sunseeker' package over the phone for a stay at Strahan Village for just $70.00 per night, for tone of their basic rooms. At that price it was reasonable value. The decor was dated - typically 1980s with yellow stucco walls and dark brown radiata pine lining on the ceiling. The TV was a cultural artifact that...

I stayed in the hilltop room. The room was reasonably large, clean and had everything you would expect. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The view from the lounge and restaurant was right over the harbour and village, with a nice warm fireplace as well. Food was very a very nice buffet. I tasted most of what they had and...

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Pleasant staff and very helpful. Good position for taking in the township. Rooms a little noisy when people were coming and going in the hallways, but would stay again and ask for a different wing.

The central check in is a great idea, and the staff had us checked in promptly. Great room with a fantastic view of the harbour, overlooking the village. We had dinner in the restaurant and whilst I am generally not a fan of buffets, this was really good. Plenty of choices and really fresh seafood. The pea and ham soup...

We stayed here for a weekend with close friends. Our bungalow was well equipped and could comfortably sleep 6 adults. There were 2 separate bedrooms, bathroom with 2 basins and large mirror, as well as a queen sized bed in the living area. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge and microwave. It was cold and wet on...
