Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for a couple of nights when our original host made an error, but made good on it when she re-booked us here.

We loved having all this space. We each had our own room with a queen/double bed.
The kitchen had everything we needed.
I really liked the shower - it had loads of hotter and arrive instantaneously. It needed a new shower curtain though. This one was getting a tad ragged. There was soap and shampoo and nice big towels.

There are lots of large windows and shades to cover them as needed.
We had cool mornings and the heater worked well enough if you gave it some time.

We were only about 400 - 500m from the water's edge. Two was only a mile.
This place worked out well for us. No complaints at all.

Our standard 2 bedroom unit at Marsden Court was very clean and comfortable. The unit was stocked with the usual tea, coffee and milk, clean cutlery and crockery and a small kitchen including a microwave with parking out the front of the unit. The beds were very comfortable and Sharon, our host was helpful with what to see and do. I would have no hesitation staying here again.

I have stayed twice recently at Marsden Court and have found the service and ammentities excellent. I will stay here again during future trips to Strahan.
Pam's welcome is friendly and informative, with a real passion for the region and its sights.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The Covid cleaning and safety requirements were obvious and questions/ information handled with care and compassion.
The facilities are excellent and it is a pleaseant walk into town and to the beach.
I highly recommend Marsden Court to all travellers, whether for work, with family or a quiet get-away.

Stayed in a one bedroom Magnolia cottage. Very small in every respect, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living area were all extremely cosy. Shower in the bathtub with a shower curtain was not terribly enticing. The whole cottage is sadly in need of an upgrade, particularly for the prices charges when compared to elsewhere. Would look elsewhere if staying in Strahan again.

We previously stayed here many years ago when it first opened. This time we stayed for two nights on 20-21 March 2022 in a Superior Garden Apartment room #18 with a queen and single bed. Car parking is directly outside the room.

Our very clean room was large with a kitchenette, small dining table, and all the usual conveniences. It also had a balcony at the back. As a bonus, the room windows open to get some fresh air. Our one issue was that the town water was not working from about 4pm-2am on the second day. Of course this was not the hotel's fault. It was just very inconvenient as it effected half the town.

The reception office was a little difficult to locate on when we first checked in - some garden plants are covering up signs. Reception staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Should we ever return to Strahan, we will stay again. Thank you.

What a gem. We spent two nights at Marsden Court. Self-contained apartments with everything one needs. Breakfast was included and our fridge and kitchen had everything, includin food, we needed to make our own breakfast.
The rooms are so clean, spacious, comfortable beds, excellent wifi and parking next to our room. The street is so quiet. We slept very well. The only downside could be the location. It is not near the main street in Strahan and visitors would need a car. Pam was so welcoming, helpful and informative. 10/10 for your interaction with visitors, Pam.

Would we recommend Marsden Court - absolutely. Difficult to fault.

We had the most wonderful welcome by Pam and her enthusiastic staff. The unit had everything we needed and was quite spacious with large windows. Queen bed in one room and 3 singles in the other. Perfect for us. We were very thankful to have 2 nights stay in Marsden Court. If needed there are guest laundry facilities. IGA and petrol are close by and very close to the wharf where we took the Gordon River Cruise. We'd love to be back one day to see more of the beautiful area and take the Railway journeys.

We stay at Marsden Court fairly regularly, and always enjoy our stay. Pam makes us feel welcome and the room is always clean and well maintained. We are always warm and comfortable in our room and sleep well in the cosy bed. The bathroom is clean and well laid out with plenty of hot water. We can walk to town and the supermarket if we feel like it. There is always plenty of parking space. Well worth the visit and we can highly recommend Marsden Court Strahan. Great job Pam.

We arrived here after long flight, Adelaide to Melbourne, then Hobart, drove across to strahan. Pam was so helpful and upgraded the room for us. Heaps of space, extremely clean and a very quiet rural location. Spent two nights here, and very impressed with everything.
Only one tiny drawback I can mention is the glass door with a roadway light outside!
Beautiful stay, thank you.
