Set high on the farmland hills overlooking the township of Stanley, the views from Horizon Apartments are simply captivating. Private decks allow guests to unwind while taking in those spectacular vistas over Stanley, the ancient volcanic formation, The Nut, and surrounding beaches. Apartments each have a king-size bed, leather lounges and a full kitchen, including the all-important coffee machine. The modern design extends throughout the open-plan living and bedroom areas and to the ensuite bathroom, with a brilliant freestanding spa overlooking the pastures to the water. Separate bathrooms also feature eye-catching floor-to-ceiling tiles and ultra-modern fittings. Generous breakfast provisions are provided, along with Austar and WiFi facilities. The property is a few minutes' drive from Stanley.

Excellent place to stay in Stanley. One of the best equiped holiday apartment ever - no "starter kit" of basic supplies - it has everything you need (e.g. dish washing, foil, glad wrap, paper towel, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, salt&pepper, olive oil, etc, etc). The reasonably priced "mini-bar" (ie full sized fridge) has wine, beer, spritzers, mixers, spirts, soft drinks, snacks, and even 2 frozen meals ready to microwave).
Check-in is at the very close by Inn with friend and helpful staff. Wonderfull lookout over the "Nut", sea, and town of Stanley. It's a short drive into the centre of town ( < 5 minutes) - if you plan to do some of your own cooking best to do your grocery shopping on the drive in (there's a Woolies and a Liquorland in Wynyard).
Restaurant choices in Stanley are limited particularly for dinner so plan (and book) ahead. The local area has lots of interesting historical sites.

We loved our stay at the Horizon Deluxe Apartments. Check in was easy and friendly at the Hotel below the apartments. The fridge was stocked with beautiful food for breakfast, fresh bread and all the amenities were there to cook breakfast in the morning. The red/bright decor really doesn’t add to the calmness/ambiance of the apartment. I would have chosen a non vibrant colour palette to decorate these beautiful apartments. We loved the addition of the robes, the heater and the electric blanket. We would recommend this accommodation in Stanley - $440 a night was good value.

A glorious way to wake up from a wonderful sleep with views over the Nut. A beautiful apartment with lots of Gluten free provisions adding to the whole experience for us. The location is a short drive to the beach with walking/bike tracks enabled us to explore the streets and extensive shoreline, before returning to the apartment to enjoy a relaxed 11am checkout. Now sharing photos with friends and family hoping they will come stay too.

More Yux than Lux. Unfortunately upon arrival for a 2 night stay we discovered the toilet was leaking. This was reported to reception. Someone came and wrapped a towel around the base of the toilet and that's how it stayed until we checked out. This was not pleasant. Most would expect the establishment would find you somewhere else to stay, or maybe reduce the rate, or offer a bottle of wine, or anything at all to make up for it. That's not how they work. Instead you get charged over 800 dollars for 2 nights at full rate and just have to deal with it. You will find the bathroom sink is slow to drain, the tables all scratched, carpet fraying and nails sticking up on the deck. Our room also had a shared entry with the apartment next door. Once again unfortunately for us they had a lot of noisy visitors coming and going with the door slamming and their chats nice and loud in the entry late in the evening and first thing in the morning. The view is excellent. The diy breakfast supplies are very nice. After reading all the glowing reviews the reality was a massive and expensive disappointment.

Our stay at the Horizon Duplex Apartments in Stanley was truly memorable. The apartment impressed with its cleanliness, modern design, spaciousness, and beautiful decor, not to mention the fantastic views. Its ideal location allowed us to easily explore the quaint town and take in the breathtaking scenery, leaving us with a strong desire to come back.

The view from our studio apartment was as advertised. It was amazing. The place was spacious and in great shape. Getting checked in was a breeze and the staff was great. The main circuit blew on our first morning (a Sunday) and they were able to quickly resolve the issue and replaced the short-circuiting toaster that same day. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon and it was wonderful. Being up on the hill we had an amazing view over Stanley and the Nut. The apartment was incredibly spacious, with a free-standing bath near the window, Our booking included breakfast supplies and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast. You need to check in at the motel just down the road, but this was well sign posted. The staff were professional and helpful, and the email that we received when we first booked our stay, explaining that there weren’t many places to eat in Stanley so we might want to consider making a booking, was especially helpful.

We recently stayed three nights in the Godfrey Studio apartment and loved every moment of it. We arrived in the middle of a typical North West Coast of Tasmania rain storm - checking is was a breeze and the apartment was warm and toasty when we entered. Even in the rainy conditions, the Nut looked spectacular as you walked through the door. The kitchen proved to be well stocked with not only the included breakfast provisions, but with the necessary equipment to cook our own meals if desired. We had a forecast of rain, wind and possible snow to sea level in parts of the state, which was great for our explorations on the 'rugged' north west and Tarkine area. It was always a pleasure to come back to our accommodation and warm up either in the very large shower or very relaxing spa bath. We had everything we wanted and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

We were traveling with family and had 2 very special nights at the Deluxe Horizon Apartments. The location is a short drive into Stanley, but gives you the most amazing views over toward The Nut and the Village. The rooms are enormous (with a spa bath to soak in while you take in the view) , and come stocked with anything you could possibly want for a hearty breakfast. The staff are based at the motel just below the apartments, but are available and really helpful when you need them. We're so glad we chose to stay here.

We stayed 1 night in Stanley on our way to Cradle Mountain. The hotel was amazing, with views of the Nut. Breakfast was great: eggs, bacon, juice, muslei, milk and yoghurt were provided. (Keep in mind breakfast requires cooking).
All amenities were provided, even a hair dryer which was nice. The spa bath with a view was KILLER, even had mood lighting. Would stay again. Very romantic. And close to town.
The only downside is the bedroom did not have any A/C or fan. The main living room does. Would be nice to have this added to bedroom as it got very warm throughout the night and opening the window caused the blinds to bang against it.
