Dear Dot and Bob, from the moment we got out of the car we felt welcomed. You are such an adorable couple. It felt like we'd known your for years. Our room was amazingly beautiful and prepared. Exceptionally clean with lovely extras. Home made bread, even hot cross buns as it was close to Easter. Yoghurt and fruit compote to...

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at the old cable station. It was our second time - having stayed back in 2010. The accomodation and property is beautifully presented amongst lush green fields overlooking bass strait in the distance. The room was spacious, extremely clean and modern. Fresh sour dough bread baked daily along with premium sukin organic...

The old cable station has been converted to include 3 beautifully appointed units that look out over the Tassie coastline. Dot & Bob are just wonderful and make sure every little detail is looked after and the king sized beds are simply the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Bob is also happy to take you for a personalised historic...

Stayed here for one night while visiting Stanley. There are only two suites available which keeps things peaceful and quiet. Dorothy and Bob occupy the house on site and were wonderful, welcoming hosts. The postmaster's suite was cosy and comfortable and I loved that Dorothy's art work adorned the wall. The ensuite bathroom included a full sized bath and separate...

The building is of high historical value and very interesting, located in a very quite and peaceful part of the world. The room was beautifully presented with nothing left undone. Bookings were made for us...

A wonderful place to spend our first three nights in Tasmania. Our hosts warmly welcomed us and our room was very clean, organized and the breakfast provisions were more than adequate. Bed was especially comfortable and the view from the back door, across the land to the sea was lovely. Our hosts, Dot and Bob were full of information about...
