This was our first experience with a B & B. The hosts ( Bob & Dot) were extremely welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. The building is of high historical value and very interesting, located in a very quite and peaceful part of the world. The room was beautifully presented with nothing left undone. Bookings were made for us...

An historic, isolated yet accessible place to stay with the best hosts you could hope for! Top notch facilities so that after a soak in the bath, a beautiful bed to sleep in and a delicious breakfast you will feel so rested you won't want to leave. Stanley is very quaint, and the surrounding area is stunning. Do go and...

A wonderful place to spend our first three nights in Tasmania. Our hosts warmly welcomed us and our room was very clean, organized and the breakfast provisions were more than adequate. Bed was especially comfortable and the view from the back door, across the land to the sea was lovely. Our hosts, Dot and Bob were full of information about...

A wonderful quiet location just outside Stanley makes for a wonderful holiday. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and supplied a good breakfast with stewed fruits and fresh fruit. Thanks for the chocolates and champagne.

We've had an amazing time here at the Cable Station. The room is beautiful, the bed made me feel like I was sleeping in the clouds and the reception when we arrived was so friendly. We were given a little tour of the station, a dinner venue was booked for us and when we arrived back later the blinds were...

The Cable Station accommodation is a good place to stay in Stanley, which itself is a lovely part of Northwest Tasmania. The hosts are very friendly, and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate and it is very good: it included local produce and some...

Stayed for one night in the Technicians Cottage. The set of rooms were very spacious, comfortable and relaxing. The instructions to get to the accommodation were very good. On arrival I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. The kitchen and pantry was stocked with a good variety and quantity of food. This is very handy as the accommodation is situated out...

My partner and I stayed at Cable Station in late November 2014. It is a lovely old building just outside of Stanley about a 5 minute drive. We booked a stay and dine weekend which is extremely good value. The rooms have been converted to accommodate a large bedroom and ensuite. There is a small area out the back of...

We had an awesome and lovely time staying at the cottage. It was absolutely gorgeous and tastefully decorated. Every single luxury add-on has been thought out in detail. The lounge greeted us with a warm wood-fire burner, all set up ready when we arrived. The gourmet kitchen was well stocked with local Tasmanian produce. We settled in for the evening...
