Once over the shock of Elephant Pass😨 we found our B&B & it was wonderful. Peter is a lovely lovely man & excellent host. The house is spotless, rooms amazing & breakfast yummy! It is all you would expect from a B&B so give it a go if ur travels take you to St Marys!

A very comfortable, spotlessly clean bed and breakfast. Host Peter was very helpful, informative and friendly. His knowledge on the surrounding area and spots to visit was a great help. A delicious cooked breakfast before we departed was an additional bonus.

We stumbled upon this B and B in a lonely planet guide and thought we'd give it a try. We were so impressed with Peter and his hospitality. Such a lovely stay, beautiful breakfast and of course the photographs at the end really added something else. We left with such warm fuzzy feelings, thank you Peter. Best place to stay...

Peter is the perfect host. He is generous with his beautiful home, his time and local knowledge, and his wondrous photographic skills. We spent two nights in St Mary's with Peter, enjoying a lovely cooked breakfast each day. I had orange juice, then peaches, followed by bacon and mushrooms - a glorious start to the day, especially when cooked by a...

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful B'nB for two nights in early October 2015. Over many years we've done a lot of travelling, visiting dozens of countries and staying at many fine establishments (some quite luxurious). Addlestone House in the sleepy town of St Marys is in the top few of all places we've stayed. In our (too...

The Room: Our bedroom contained a Queen-sized bed; an ensuite; and a small private sitting room. The whole property is furnished and decorated in a pleasant, country style. Staff: Peter is a charming and kind, caring host. Parking: Off-street, on-site....

Peter Troode spares no effort in making his guests welcome and their stay memorable. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, every comfort. Great breakfast. Cold weather no problem, warm rooms and big, comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with every convenience. We will be back.

From the moment my wife and i arrived, Peter was an absolute pleasure! We were made to feel right at home. That feeling combined with an extremely comfortable room, delicious cooked breakfast and good company made our stay the best we had in Tasmania. Thank you Peter! Dan & Ramie

From the moment we arrived, Peter Troode was the consummate host. We were immediately told to "make ourselves at home" and he meant it. He clearly relishes his job - and it shows. Peter has an interest in his guests (there was another couple there for one of the nights) and chats effortlessly, but not intrusively, about anything and everything,...

Lovely restored period home set in neat garden in country town in the northeast of Tasmania. The host, Peter Troode, instantly makes visitors feel welcome, and the service is excellent. I heartily recommend it as a place to stay!
