We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin which was clean and comfortable but it could do with an update. The location is great (a bit of a windy road up to the cabins) with a very short drive to the town centre and another short drive to a good fishing spot. Washing facilities are available in a spearate building which...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage; it was clean, spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen; however the double bed was very uncomfortable. The location had an amazing view of the bay and was a short distance to the main shopping centre. Staff were friendly and welcoming and it was a good place from...

This was the cheapest accommodation we had during a 6 week trip. However our 1 bedroom cabin had lots of space, was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a full meal. We even had a deck to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening. It's in a very quiet position with good views over...

Pluses: We stayed in a one BR cottage. It was nicely positioned up on the hill with a view to the sea. The host was pleasant and helpful. The cabins are not expensive. Basic toilettries are provided. Things to improve? I didn't find the beds particularly comfortable. Self contained? - probably not a good idea to have a bar fridge...

It is just a great place. I couldn't think of any negative point of this place (as commented by another user, maybe the fact that the toilet is downstairs while the bedroom is upstairs, not a problem for me but maybe for someone). Everything is clean and new and the location is great.

Queechy Cottages is a very clean, quiet and cosy stay in St.Helens. We had a 2 bedroom cabin which was nicely equipped and very comfortable. Basic cooking/cleaning facilities, dining, lounge/tv area are provided. There was also a nice porch to hang out around the back. Excellent location, perched on a hilltop overlooking the bay and only a few hundred metres...

We had 4nights/5days at leisure; away from visiting family to briefly explore the East Coast of Tasmania. Touring route north east of Launceston; Lilydale, Bridestowe Lavender Estate, Scottsdale, Derby, Weldborough Pass – Rainforest walk, Little Plains Lookout, Pyengana Cheese, The Shop in the Bush – Bric-a-brac Shop, and St Helens as our 2 night stop over. Here we stopped at...

We had not booked anything and arrived on Mothers day weekend and were pleasantly surprised with both the price and the standard of the accomodation. We stayed in one of the 2 storey units with the bedroom upstairs (room aplenty) and pleasant decor and touches by the owners. Bathroom and living area downstairs and again pleasant decor - my wife...

We stayed in a very clean and comfortable motel style room that was HUGE. Upstairs the bedroom and downstairs the living space. The only negative thing I would say is that the bathroom / toilet is downstairs - so if you have regular visits during the night - this could pose a problem. Everything you need for an extended stay...
