When you hear the word resort it conjures up visions of swimming pools landscaped garden and people having fun,not this resort. Arrive and went to reception, nobody there, stood in the huge impersonal foyer and was greeted by somebody after about what seemed like 5 minutes with a voice coming out of the kitchen asking are you booking in,not a good start....

Meals average, staff were pleasant, the rooms were average, the bedroom and passage way floors creaked and were noisy, the doorstop in bathroom is not well thought out as it right in front of the pan plus the adjoining room spa pump was annoying.

Tidal waters resort is as the name suggests right on the inlet at St Helens. We had a water view room with a lovely balcony that had a table and chairs on it....very nice for afternoon drinks. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. We ate at the restaurant one of the nights we were...

We stayed here for 3 nights in March. Our room was a very good size with a view overlooking the water. Also handy that the resort had washing machines and a dryer available for your use. We were so glad that we chose a room with a water view. So nice to look out and see all of the bird...

Travelling around Tasmania on a road trip, and we decided to take a punt and stay here. The check in was pretty basic, with no further information about the area or maps offered. I decided to treat myself to a hot buffet breakfast the next morning, and I wish I had saved my $25.00. The hash browns were soggy, the...

Hedge needs overhaul. Was extremely windy when we were there but a little...

The motel was lovely. The staff we interacted with were also lovely. It was clean and inviting. It was hot. We had an oscillating fan in our room but it was still too warm. We had our toddler with us and he could open the door and could remove the safety chain from the door so we couldn't relax in...

Very pleasant and friendly reception staff, upon their advice paid $40 to upgrade to a apartment "with fabulous water views". These views turned out to be of St Helens Bay about 300 meters away over a swamp. Immediately outside of our apartment was a pond with a couple of empty drink bottles beside it. The basic room was tired, the...
