If I had not booked it based on Trip Advisor review - I would have driven off looking from the outside it looked like a bomb shelter for short people. Met Peter the owner, he is an old fella struggling these days, Jan was out. The room was clean but 60's look and old and a bit worn but everything...

To be fair to this place it isn't where I would not of stayed normally, but, this place is comfortable, the couple running it are selling up and the place does look a little run down and in desperate need of new furnishings. The lady was very helpful and friendly and as I was very sick on my 1st night...

The motel is located on the main road, yet we were not disturbed by traffic noise even with the windows open. This was a last minute booking as we'd forgotten about the long weekend Monday and were glad to find availability - top marks too for not charging any premium on a long weekend! Although the rooms were basic and...

We stayed here for one night. The place needs a face lift as very old. Very clean and tidy. Terrible pillow which need replacing. No dryer but if you ask Jan you can use their private one. It was cheap and one night was ok.

We stayed at this accomodation run by Jan and her lovely husband. This motel is great value for money. It's very affordable at $85 a night and an extra $5 for brekkie. The hosts are very sweet and I appreciate them lookind after us. The rooms are of course older with potential to renovate, nonetheless they were more than comfortable...

We stayed at the Anchor Wheel for one night on our Tassie road trip and were very pleased with our stay. The host Jan greeted us upon arrival and was very sweet. She showed us our room even though we had arrived quite early which was really helpful after a long drive. The room was super clean and had everything...

My hubby and I recently stayed for two nights at this little gem of a motel. Located on a quiet street within walking distance to the town, it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped, queen bed extremely comfy and good water pressure in the shower with no fluctuation in temperature like other places...

This hotel was satisfactory for a 1 night stay, anything longer and I would choose somewhere else personally. The hotel is obviously very dated (this is clear to see in advance via the traveller pics) but this is reflected in the cheap-as-chips price! The room had enough to be comfortable for short stay and as others have mentioned was very...

Was a special little place - and I got a wonderful photo of the sunset from right at the door! It is close to town, very, very clean, free Wi Fi - the offer of breakfast for an extra $5, and is VERY cheap (cost us $80 for our night there), and the lady at reception jan, was lovely! The...

We stayed here on 2/5/16, after reading their reasonable rates advertise on the road side. Rooms were clean, warm, supplied basic amenities, and basic. Bed was comfortable. The man in the office was cheerful and helpful. We would stay here again.
