Detailed Reviews
Very historic - they were apparently the officers' homes. Each one has been divided into upstairs or downstairs. We had the spa suite on the ground floor, which was a twin room, a queen room, a kitchen/lounge/dining and a bathroom. Be aware that "historic" means the rooms didn't have a lot of natural light, and rooms were fairly small (except the bathroom). Very charming decor - we loved looking at the antiques and beautiful old photo portraits of people from a bygone era. Kitchenette was well appointed. Breakfast basket was generous and had some fun touches - we actually used it for an afternoon snack on arrival as well. Free parking sufficient for all units at back of building. We chose this place because it's so close to the airport (10 min) and we were heading up the east coast highway the next day. We could shop for supplies in Sorell, which has both Woolworths and Coles. We would stay again.

We stayed here one night, close to the airport (10) kms. Takes about 30 mins, in peak hour & roadworks.
We had room B5, small cottage, however all worked well, nice bathroom, very comfortable bed, great breakfast basket. The basket contained cereals, fruit, bread for toasting, crumpets, blue berries, butter, biscuits & chocolates, juice & milk in the fridge
The room had 2 heaters & electric blankets on the bed just incase you got really.
We will stay here again, next time in Hobart

An excellent choice. This delightful establishment is located in a quiet area and is quaint, charming and screams of delightful heritage. A super comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room and every item you could possibly need was provided. A lovely thoughtful host and only 20 minutes from Hobart airport. Super breakfast basket too! Would definitely return. Just delightful.

This is an awesome place to stay. 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Hobart. Good base to get to and from. Tracy and Chick are super hosts. Lots of little details like blankets for putting on when sitting, moisturiser to apply after a day out and a great breakfast is provided. Lots of great places to eat out at that are within walking distance. Great value for money and quaint surroundings.

Our stay was outstanding from my first contact to our welcome note and then our final good bye five days later. Our accommodation was very comfortable with furnishing appropriate to the era. The kitchen had all that we required. A welcome basket was appreciated as was the text from Lynn offering to do our washing. It is within an easy walk to the local hotel and cafes. Off street parking is available and it has lovely grounds. A book exchange set up in the garden was a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this site.

Our stay was cozy, comfy, and quiet. The hosts were very accomodating and really helpful. It has an old worldly charm to it, and is close to everything you need. My son who is 6.3 had to bend down to get under the doorways, so that made it entertaining.🤣

Our family of three stayed two nights in this quaint BnB. The attention to detail is amazing, it felt like we had stepped back in time. We had everything we needed in our well appointed and spacious loft rooms. Tracey and Chick are wonderful hosts and we would certainly recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect. They were very fast and helpful when I sent enquiries by emails, and the garden cottage I booked was lovely. Very cosy, cute and comfortable. And they had a lovely welcome basket which I felt was so thoughtful. It was close to the airport, and very peaceful. I will definitely book again.
