After having spent 5 nights camping in the wet, we took shelter here for two nights. We had a standard room which was very large, and nicely appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The laundry easy (and cheap) to use. We ordered room service, rather than eat in the bistro, and were extremely impressed with the food quality. Oh,...

I found the accommodation to be of a good standard however I have just returned to my room from the restaurant and find myself compelled to warn other travellers on the quality of the food being served. I ordered the chefs special - Bream which was badly overcooked. It was dry and as tuff as leather. I forced it down...

Room clean and spacious. living room opens up onto a deck, which was a big hit for the kids as they could feed the ducks. Looking over lakeside from room is beautiful. Kitchen well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Pool was also a big plus. Staff friendly. Thank you Tall Timbers, we certainly will be staying again.

We were staying in a standard room near the pond. A lot could have been better: - Cleaning crew trying to break in the door at 8.15 am in the morning. Without apology. How can you run a hotel business without knowing if your guests are in their room? - Very noisy birds at night, we didn't sleep well for...

Hi, Thank you for your feedback on your trip. Let me start by apologizing again, as our cleaning staff did, for the early morning wake up. With being so very busy this time of year our staff were eager to get on with the job and in this isolated case it was an unfortunate oversight. The daytime birds both delight...

Very good place in a nice environment. We spent a nice time taking advantage of the swimming pool. Well located in the beautiful north-western of Tasmania . Staff is very nice and gave us good advice.

My family stayed the night on a recent road trip around Tassie. The accommodation was fabulous, we stayed in a lakeside apartment. For the night we paid $260 in the week before Christmas. We ate in the restaurant which was fit for 200 people, no music, no ambience and expensive. Stay the night but head into Stanley, lots a great...

On the edge of town Tall Timbers Hotel accommodation has a lovely free grassed area for self contained RVs. Max 72 hrs in a 14 day period. Good base for day trips. Facilities, including an indoor pool and spa can be accessed for a fee. A drivein bottleshop had beer cheaper than in town.

Everything was great;welcome, staff, food, pool, room EXCEPT I could hear the conversation from the room next door. Shame, the room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. It even had a toaster as well as the usual kettle etc. Otherwise it would have been 5*

The rooms are fairly basic but nicely done. Very clean Everything you could need. There are a lot of good eating options on site. The sports bar and the restaurant are excellent. Great atmosphere. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. The restaurant was very busy on the night we dined but they were very quick with their...
