Rooms were very good, clean and well set up. Larger rooms were unavailable to us due to school holidays and the Easter break which dampened our stay somewhat. However, would book earlier next time as we only found this facility at the last minute on our trip.
Staff were excellent as was the facilities and spacious grounds / gardens. On site Bottle Shop was a bonus. Bar meals were affordable and many options including Restaurant dining. Booked a Queen Hotel room that was spacious including Queen Bed and single. More like a small apartment than a Hotel type Room.
Located just off the main road, this is a large hotel complex. We stayed in a unit overlooking a lake which was a beautiful view. The unit was large and would be suitable for a person with a disability. Easy parking. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food and service were both excellent. We had a drink in the bar. Staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient. A great base to visit Arthur’s River and the Tarkine Drive.
2 night stay very enjoyable. Great bar with huge selection of wines. The staff excellent friendly and efficient. The bar had open fire and great atmosphere. Unit cosy and clean. Definately come back again, restaurant had best steaks.
Spent one night here for the Tarkine drive but Tall Timbers left a very good impression from a cosy cabin to an excellent meal at the restaurant. Service was very good at hotel level. We didn’t get to use the facilities as we were there for one night only but we still experienced enough to have a very good stay here.
