We also stayed recently in the room with a large spa bathroom. All very clean and very comfortable. Pleasant hosts and nice grounds too. An excellent base for exploring the region. Over summer be aware that eating options in Sheffield town are challenging past 8 pm. It might be daylight saving but the locals all still eat well before the...

My husband and I stayed in the spa room for two nights. It was basic, comfortable accommodation. It would have been better if there was a larger shower in the huge bathroom that was mostly unused space.

Enjoyed our multi-night stay at Kentish Hills Retreat in Sheffield. We booked the spa room, and found it to be notably large (with a VERY large bathroom and oversize spa tub). Bed was comfortable and room included small dining table with 2 chairs as well as small desk and kitchenette with kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave (very handy). WiFi worked...

We stayed here as a family in November 15. On check in i was greeted by the owner. She was very friendly and gave insight into Sheffield and the tourist attractions around the area as well as the worthwhile restaurants in town. It was quite cold when we were there so we booked a spa suite and enjoyed a nice...

We stayed in Kentish Hills Retreat for 1 night en-route to Cradle Mountain the next morning. We liked that the room was quiet, clean and quite spacious. Bathroom was also quite spacious. Kitchen sufficiently equipped with a microwave oven. Coffee/Tea bags were provided free. Room had a heater which came in handy as it was quite chilly at night. The...

What a beautiful place to stay. It was so peaceful. We were allowed to hand feed the alpacas and Russell the sheep. The BBQ area was clean and the room spacious. Also quiet enough to meditate outside near their waterfall. Thank you for a lovely bed.

I chose Sheffield because all the accommodation around Cradle Mountain was fairly pricy; and Sheffield was one of the larger towns not too far away, and with reasonable rates (although slightly higher than Launceston and Hobart). There were two motels I found in Sheffield at the same price, and I am glad I chose Kentish Hills Retreat. This motel is...

We find Sheffield a good place to stay to visit surrounding attractions such as Cradle Mountain the Motel is clean and the gardens with a pergola and BBQ are good.It is a nice quiet place to stay as it is a little bit out from the centre of town but easy walking distance we would stay here again.

Great place to stay and unwind. 500m metres to the township centre.. We had a large room with a queen bed kitchenette and bathroom. Super clean and plenty of room to move around. All the bits and pieces you would need are in the kitchenette. There are only 12 units in the complex so not people coming and going all...

Comfortable, friendly, good WiFI and a great BBQ to cook dinner is required. Good parking, and only 400m to the heart of Sheffield, The Town of murals. Easy access to Lake Barrington Rowing and Devonport. Mini bar is well stocked and a good surprise.
