This place satisfied our requirements for a place to sleep overnight as we toured this lovely part of Tasmania. The host was working under difficulties due to illness in the family and so we appreciated that he insisted on cooking us breakfast. The room was comfortable and suited our purpose. Host's advice to have dinner at local hotel was appreciated...

Thanks so much to our hosts for a wonderfully comfortable stay. They were a delight and the beds were super comfortable. Definitely a great place to rest and re-charge those batteries. Scottsdale is a great spot.

We had to cancel our booking (which we had to pay in full in advance) due to a medical emergency which saw my partner in hospital. I called a week in advance of our check in date and tried to explain the situation and if there was any way that a partial refund was possibly available. The response was a...

This is very untrue the person was told that we had a cancellation of 14 day with no refund but that they can re book at a later date with no cost to them, but they did not wish to do so, this it is not our fault that they did not have travel insurance. on the next day the...

Stayed one night then had to stay another. Great little B & B self contained unit just in the outskirts of town. The owners are a great couple. Very friendly and informative and live to chat about the area and life in general. Great spot just over the road to see ducks, wild chickens, fresh water lobsters & platypus. Great...

Enjoyed our one night staying at Rest a While in Scottsdale. Fortunate to be given the large Oak Room downstairs that was easy to access and very spacious. The fresh fruit from Tony and Stella's orchard was a generous bonus. This is certainly a B & B that we would return to on another trip to Tassie. The recommendation of...

Tony and Stella are very experienced inn keepers. They invite you in like you are family. We arrived late in the evening with no reservations and were very well taken care of. A few things might not have been perfect, but Stella irons the sheets by hand because she thinks her guest deserve the best. When we left that gave...

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and marked likely attractions on a map for us for our following day's drive. Fresh milk was delivered in a jug to our fridge upon arrival, instead of there being the usual long-life milk mini-cartons. The room and bathroom were very spacious and there was even a separated-off extra room with a single...
