Basic hotel with a great view of the lovely peaceful beach. Not flashy or modern but doesn't say that it is. Clean and comfortable, staff were informative and friendly. Perfect for our 1 night stopover. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant downstairs which was served really quickly and some really good tassie wine. Worth a stay if you've been...

We stayed 1 night in this motel. The staff was friendly and the view was beautiful but the motel itself was not pleasant. We had dinner the night we arrived - veggie stir fry and steak - the food was overpriced and tasteless to say the least. The rooms need some renovating - the carpets are old and have a...

It was an awful experience. The owner had a tantrum in front of us and was extremely rude. The rooms and facilities were old and in need of an upgrade. When we asked if there was any WiFi, they replied that the old owners bugged the system. Yes, we believe you. Overall, it was a terrible experience. Visit at your...

All in all it was fairly good for the price. Room was clean, everything you need for a short stay. Stunning view from the balcony. SLept with the sliding door open and loved hearing the crashing waves at night. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only thing we had a problem with was the wifi....Laptop or tablet would not pick...

The building is in need of repairs. Great location as it is across the road from the white sand beach. We had a good view of the beach from our top floor balcony. The room as very old and tried, but clean. First placed we stay in years that had an old style TV. No wifi. The free continental breakfast...

It's hard to positive at all about this place. The view is good, but not amazing. For the price it is extremely bad value. The view is of open beach across a lagoon and is certainly the highlight. The rooms are disgraceful. It might be fine that the hotel is going through an upgrade (although I could see no evidence...

Stayed here on a fairly warm night, had no aircon or even a fan to cool down! The view is a 5/5 and is in a good location for an afternoon walk down the beach. Also has a nice pool that looks well maintained, a coin operated laundry facility, a bar, bistro and bottle-O.

We had one night at this property and didn't really have a high expectation - Lonely Planet had given us an idea of what to expect. This place is a reminder of the old style motels most aussies have experienced when travelling with families when younger. However, the rooms here have been renovated, BUT have not aircon. On a hot...

We stayed here Xmas week the room was old but very clean and comfortable. Rooms had balconies overlooking the coast which was great as it is a vast expanse of beach and sea. The room wasn't air conditioned so when the wind dropped it was a little warm - but I think the weather was unusually warm for Tassie. The...
