Detailed Reviews
From the moment we arrived in our camper we knew our stay was going to be awesome. Powered site for two nights including private ensuite (shower and toilet) was perfect and very reasonably priced. Lovely setting, nice facilities and great staff.
Met many nice travellers and each spot had area to make a fire so quite safe and good for catch ups. Plenty of little wildlife and birds around so $2 bag of (their) food is a must.
Short drive to other attractions and shops - just perfect with bookings recommended

A hidden gem situated on the point at Stewart's Bay, not far from the Port Arthur Historic site. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, who were very informative and accommodating, the reception had a small convenience store with a range of groceries and lollies/ice creams for kids. The park operates a boom gate so no unwanted visitors can just drive through the park. Our site featured an ensuite which was very clean. The site itself was drive through (no reversing) and tiered with shrubs between each site making you feel as if you were camping on your own. On the evening we arrived, there was a live band playing at the camp kitchen and there were organised activities each day (face painting, cooking etc). Super organised, we received sms messages regularly during our stay keeping us up to date with the activities on offer etc. Although we did not need to use them the facilities were brilliant with a large camp kitchen, bbq area and amenities block and a great play ground area for kids. Stewart's Bay beach is a short stroll from the park and there is a path along the coastline linking up to the lodge and Gabriel's restaurant as well as the historic site. All In all a great central location for exploring the Tasman peninsula or just relaxing in the bush. We can't wait to get back there!

We stopped off here on our trip through Tassie. We actually booked one of their fantastic cabins for three nights, as I was fed up with the dreadful Cruisin motor home. This is a fabulous parklands. Beautifully maintained and over 40 acres of private camping and caravan sites, leading down to the river. All the facilities are spotless, and you certainly don't feel 'crowded in'. We were lucky to get a new 'studio apartment'. It was fortuitous, as unfortunately I took ill on the Friday evening and was confined to bed Sat. & Sun. Sadly, we had to cancel our booked and paid for Port Arthur tour for the Saturday, transferring it to Monday, when we had to cancel again. We were extremely disappointed in missing out on our much anticipated tour, however, being in the park, made a world of difference. No wonder it has won awards. There are immaculate facilities, play areas for the kids, and lots of level sites for vans. A Huge BBQ area with facilities and birds and little critters abound in the park. I would have no hesitation in staying there again, although, next time, we'll 'ditch the van', hire a car and stay in one of their great cabins. Highly recommend it.

This is a lovely holiday park. I would come back here even if I wasn’t needing to see Port Arthur again. This place has everything from a large clean amenities block, 4 large under cover BBQ ares with fire places 😱 (that were spotless), a very large fully fitted out camp kitchen and a laundry. The showers are free but timed. The laundry is $4 a load to wash or dry. It has plenty for the kids to do at the park and there is a walking track to Port Arthur which takes about 30 to 40 minutes but is a very easy walk if distance is not an issue. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. They are building some new clamping ttents that look amazing!! Well done to the hosts for taking such pride and care with this park.

We booked an ensuite site which was a bit of a luxury after sharing amenities in multiple parks during our lap of Tasmania. We were travelling in a camper and were really impressed with this holiday park. It was well managed and the facilities were clean and well planned. You could have a campfire if you chose to which was a nice touch on a cold night. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay!!! Arrived on 26/2/22 & leaving on 3/3/22. Our stay has been great. All the staff are friendly, courteous & helpful.
The amenities, kitchen, play room & tv room are very clean, spacious & comfy.
They have 2 fridge/freezers, 2 toasters, 2 kettles, 2 big sinks & they provide dishwashing liquid. Huge Oven, 2 microwaves, cutting boards & T-towels. There’s 5 round tables & lots of chairs.
Laundry has 4 washing machines- $4 - & 4 dryers agan $4 for 40 min. 2 Ironing boards & tub.
They have an awesome Pizza Oven outdoor under the patio & can provide you with wood. Must make a booking prior to using it.
About 5 different areas with undercover tables, sink, & fireplace. They have a Skate park & play equipment for kids.
All the sites are individual & we love the fact you can drive through & some have fire pits.
Overall it’s a fantastic place to stay for few or more days! When we back in Tassy we’ll definitely stay here.

We had a brief overnight stay in this excellent park. We stayed in a deluxe water view cabin, which was 2 bedroom, but for the price and location we thought it was good value for the two of us. The cabin was clean, the bed comfortable and the kitchen enabled us to eat in. The park is in a beautiful location, with a quiet beach being a short walk from the park. It is spacious, well shaded with leafy trees and birds and is very well maintained. It was an ideal location to visit both Port Arthur and a boat trip off the coast. We would happily stay here again.

We stayed here after previously staying at the NRMA caravan park at St Helens and inspecting their park at Merimbula which both offered excellent accommodation but we were very disappointed with this park. We booked a Seaview room, which only gave us a glimpse of the sea, the outside light was broken, the self in the shower was broken, the cabin was not that clean, the TV didn’t work the first night and I rang reception which was meant to be open until 6pm but was shut at 5.30pm. The next morning I rang reception and a staff member arrived quite promptly, it needed to be put on Imput 3 (it was the last thing I would have tried). There was no documentation on how to work anything from the TV, Air-Con, induction stove, rangehood didn’t work, cooking pot only big ones, only one fry pan, not happy campers. Sorry I don’t usually write bad reviews but for the price we paid for 2 nights I was very disappointed.

Cindy on reception was amazing.
Be sure to stop at the shop to buy food to feed the birds and pademelons (small wallabies), at only $2 a bag it’s great value.
Room was large and clean. Dinnerwear for 4 people supplied, including champagne flutes. Basic cookware supplied and had a combination microwave/grill/convection oven and a 4 hotplate ceramic cooktop. 3 assorted sized pots and a medium sized frypan. Heater worked well.
Property is just up the road from the historic site.

Enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights in our RV. Lots of trees and large sites with own personal fire drum which you can purchase wood for $15 from office. Lots of wildlife roaming free lovely location. Nice and quiet. Large leafy park. Amenities good staff fantastic every friendly and knowledgeable about recommendations of what to do in the area. They are also building new glamping area which looks great. The reason I scored 4 as amenities not as up to date.
