Calling through here on a road trip around tasmania with our ozzie family. Stumbled upon this little gem. It is literally like a film studio with pictures, cameras and film reels. The seating like an american 60's set. Just had drinks and i don't remember what food or prices were like but the toilets were AMAZING!!!!

Stopped here on our Tassie road trip for coffee and cake. It was like walking into a film studio. Amazingly decked out with lights cameras studio chairs. Walk through into the bar to vinyl LPs and pictures. Then into the toilets with engine parts awesome. Coffee and cakes great. If your heading to or passing through its a must stop.

We stopped here on the way through to Hobart and what a surprise!! A quirky place with amazing home-made scones and cream, excellent egg and bacon rolls and coffee. A really nice place with wonderful service and a friendly smile.

Called into Oatlands en route to Hobart looking for a coffee fix. We're flabbergasted when we found the Kentish Inn and its TKO bakery. Food was fresh and all you would want from a small country establishment. The real treat was the visual extravaganza inside . Walls and room covered with Errol Flynn and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia....plus other weird stuff....

Don't spoil your day out. Keep driving to the other end of town which is charming. This place serves burnt coffee. It takes them 20 minutes to make 4 slices of Tip Top thin slice toast served with prepackaged no-name jam. Tacky interior. Week old newspapers.

OK so you're driving on the Midlands Highway and you need a nourishing refueling...this is the place to stop : the burgers and fries, and especially the scallop or steak and Guinness pies are superb - and the décor is a gas! If you're a Marilyn (Monroe, who else?) or Errol Flynn fan, you'll feel like you just won an...

Stayed overnight at the Kentish hotel which didn't operate as a hotel on weekends . The bakery which is part of the Kentish acts as accommodation reception. Bedroom was upstairs which raised its difficulties. Bedroom was ok and bathroom was good. Has been renovated.staff were keen to help.there was a kitchen and common room where you could relax and have...

We reserved a room last minute and were nearly the only ones there. Room was very fairly priced and included the use of a common area and kitchen including toast and cereal for breakfast. The lady who greeted us was super nice and very helpful. The pub/restaurant wasn't open when we were there but it looked very cool as well!

We called in for breakfast and were impressed with the egg & bacon roll with excellent coffee for a very reasonable price. An extra bonus is the Errol Flynn and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. For males the engine manifolds, carburretor and other engine bibs and bobs on display in the 'Gents' is an interesting experience! Ladies have to contend with the...

Can't talk about the food as we never had it . This is / was a good hotel with a sandstone interior bar and a lot of history . The theme of the hotel now is a 50's movie toe set with hundreds of prints of old film stars on every wall of the cafe and the bar, pieces of...
