Saints and Sinners B&B/cafe is in New Norfolk, 30 minutes drive from Hobart. It is nestled in the township of New Norfolk in Tasmania's scenic Derwent Valley, a short drive from Hobart. Guests enjoy history with all the modern conveniences of this bed and breakfast located within easy reach of local attractions. Country comfort is combined with a delightful continental breakfast. Great care has been taken to provide comfortable, tastefully decorated accommodation with each room containing an en suite TV, heater, heat lamps in the en suite for those chilly winter mornings. Also there is a lovely guest kitchen with everything you will need. Saints & Sinners B&B/Cafe, historically known as Rockhampton Home/House, derives the current name from a local history book. The book states that in the mid 1800s this end of town, located between St Matthews Church and the hotels, was referred to as the "saints and sinners" end of town. The existing building was erected in three stages dating from 1833. In 1999 the old house was refurbished for use as a bed and breakfast. Local attractions include the many antique shops in New Norfolk, Salmon Ponds, Mount Field National Park where you will find the stunning Russell Falls and of course we are close to Hobart where you will find Salamanca Markets and the world renowned MONA art gallery.

Caravan park cabins were booked out so we were advised to try Saint and Sinners...what excellent advise. Not normally B&B type travellers, we found our stay warm friendly and very comfortable. Recently renovated with new hosts. Our room was immaculate and had a great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend All Saint and Sinners well worth it....oh and the breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit.

Stopped in here for lunch while awaiting check in at our motel. So glad we did! The homemade sausage rolls are the best we’ve had and the whole meal was delicious. Thank you to our lovely waitress for giving us some tourist guides and having a chat - great service and lovely Cafe for sure!

We wanted an afternoon coffee and found this delightful place opposite a pretty park. Parking was easy, the street a quiet one up from the main town centre. This is a historic building that's been done up and converted to a B&B. It was a cold day, but the cafe was warmly heated by a pellet fire which the owners turned up on our arrival. It's decorated with all sorts of fascinating bric-a-brac, and great care has been taken to make it interesting. The coffee and chai latte were very good - the mug size enormous. The owners were friendly and chatty. The toilet was fastidiously clean, as was the kitchen (which I had to walk through to get to the loo). I reckon the B&B part would be rather gorgeous.

At first glance this place looks a bit rough around the edges but don't be deceived! Inside it is immaculately clean, homely and great value. What most impressed us was the friendly husband and wife staff and the superb breakfast they provided with, wait for it, homemade jam and marmalade! Best breakfast you could wish for in a cute and quirky cafe filled with memorabilia they have collected and done up over the years. Thoroughly recommended.

Our first trip to Tassie and our first ever stay in a B&B. We were a bit nervous that it was going to be like staying in someone's spare room but it we were delighted with a quiet and private oasis. The Mum and daughter team made us feel at home and their attention to detail was very much appreciated. Thank you for a lovely experience as well as a big room, comfy bed and clean and fresh bathroom.

This is a new cafe, and tends to suffer a bit from copying what others are doing. It hasn't really found it's voice yet, but it seems to be heading towards the "home cooking" type of venue. Certainly, what we had showed promise, but needs to add more of it's own touches to differentiate itself.
The food is good if fairly standard, and the coffee is certainly acceptable.
The venus itself is interesting, with some nice retro touches and collections. It just needs to build on this.

Good homecooked food at reasonable prices. Made on premises. Been there 3 times and coffee is good as was the meals. The staff are helpful and the menu usually has new specials of soup etc The scones I highly recommend, they are straight from the oven with plain and date, Nice relaxing place

The Saints and Sinners B&B was a lovely place with lots of interesting vintage items placed around the building. The room we stayed in was neat and clean, large enough for the two of us and had an ensuite.

We were having trouble finding accommodation because of the long weekend & this B&B was suggested by the caravan park. We stayed 5 nights from 10/3/2016. What a surprise, not only was the price reasonable, it was sooo quiet and the room was just lovely, the décor is in keeping with the period of the building. This is a real treasure, lovely, friendly, helpful family running the establishment. The B&B is at one end of High St, the shopping centre so it's very central to shops, cafes, pubs. Can also recommend the New Norfolk Hotel for dinner, great food. The only drawback is a steep internal staircase with all 4 rooms upstairs, we are 'older' and could cope.
