Great stop on our roadtrip honeymoon, the owner gifted us some wood. Relaxed departure allowed us to visit he Cafe up road! We walked there to find its open Thursday to Sunday and is amazing and fairly priced!! One guest at the Park gifted us some wine to celebrate and another one a hose fitting to fix our water system. Lovely, small, beautiful and friendly! The people made the experience us much as the place and I recommend anyone who wants a nice fire by the creek and a play on the grass in the sun the following day. Enjoy We visited and was quiet so plenty of space for setting up out rooftop tent. Used the washing machine. Dryer provided as well as line and pegs
We stayed overnight here during our travels and were welcomed by the host on arrival. The campsites are huge, ours was right on the little running creek. We didn't see a Platypus unfortunately but the running water was pretty to watch and sounded very relaxing at night. The facilities were very clean and the showers hot. A great little place to stop and relax for a day or so.
Has to be one of the less costly caravan parks in Tassie. Friendly and helpful owner, nothing too difficult for her. Great location to use as a base to explore the area. Could have stayed longer but unfortunately on a schedule. Recommend 100%
With only 2 hours notice on a busy public holiday, I was able to get a campsite here. the owner was so lovely and went above and beyond for me. The creek and surrounds are such a lovely place to spend the night.
We chose an unpowered site beside the beautiful babbling creek. It was peaceful and relaxing. The other guests were quiet and respectful. The managers are lovely, facilities are very clean. There are large grassed areas and firepits. The rates are very reasonable - $22 per night for an unpowered site and $1:00 per shower. This was a great base to explore the surrounding countryside, bush walks and caves. We will definitely return and I highly recommend it.
