Staying here in a powered site with a camper van, staff are very lovely, welcoming and accomodating. The bar itself is beautiful on the inside nice and warm with the open fire. Drinks are reasonable prices and utilise local alcohol. Food was 10/10. Showers / toilets nice and clean. Would come here again 100%!

Fabulous stay- newly renovated and gorgeous room; friendly staff; great restaurant food; amazing shop. An unexpected highlight of our trip! Even though very busy over the long weekend, nothing was too much trouble for the terrific wait staff and others.

Was met at door and very unwelcoming staff ordered the special was way overpriced for what I got and couldn’t eat it ! I wouldn’t recommend or return to the place much nicer establishment just down the road better food fantastic service and good atmosphere

This was a great place to stay for a couple of nights on our trip around tas. Units new and well equipped. Bed super comfortable and place spotless. Very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend restaurant..much better than your regular pub food. Dining area overlooks lake where you can enjoy the view and excellent food. Highly recommend.

We only stayed one night but we did enjoy the hotel. Our two bedroom unit was great. It was spacious and clean, had amazingly comfortable beds and all the facilities we needed. We also dined at the restaurant for lunch. The food was very nice and the service excellent. The staff for check in and dining were also lovely. Thanks Great Lake Hotel - we loved it!

The reviews are correct BUT if you plan on eating at 2.31 pm on a public holiday, try the Arthur’s Lake Roadhouse. Despite the efforts of the girls serving in the pub, the kitchen staff said the kitchen closed at 2.30pm. The male bartender backed this up with ‘ shoulda came earlier mate ‘. We enjoyed great steak sandwiches at the aforementioned roadhouse at 2.45 pm. Sad but lesson learned.

This is a great pub with real atmosphere. It serves great food and has great helpful staff. Overall a great pub for friends family and a solo hiking trip. This is also mid range pricing, but also good food. Most importantly Great Lake hotel has a pool table.

Delicious lunch on a cold day at this cosy hotel. The smiling staff welcomed us & made us feel at home- our meals were also served without delay & were a very high standard. Definitely worth a stop at this friendly hotel.Chicken Parma & mushroom risotto with a glass of wine in front of the roaring fire made for a very enjoyable start to our holiday. Cheers to the new owners for the improvements they have made.
