I was only at Blue Wren Cottage for a night, and that was too short. A very pleasant cottage in a lovely setting, with everything that is needed for either short or long term stay. Very friendly and helpful service, a comfortable bed, and excellent facilities. The cottage would be a wonderful place to stay for a couple or one... More

The cottages are in a delightful setting with lovely gardens and close to the beach. John and Rhonda are great hosts, very friendly and always willing to provide information on attractions in the island. Their two dogs Bessie and Percy are a delight and provided constant fun. The garden attracts a variety of bird life , particular the Blue Wrens... More

Really enjoyed the stay. The fittings, furnishings and appointments were top notch. Great friendly personalised service from John who provided a very warm welcome and was a fabulous source of local knowledge. Great location with fabulous views. Extremely quiet and peaceful. The island is a rural gem. Thoroughly recommend going there. Note: No food shops nearby or restaurants open early... More

I travelled with a friend & her 3 year old daughter. We spent a wonderful five nights in the charming Wattlebird Cottage. The decor was homely & cosy. The kitchen was basic but well-equipped (we cooked our own meals each night), with the outdoor wood fire barbecue a real highlight! The cottages overlook Sea Elephant Bay & are just across... More

Our stay in the Blue Wren Cottage which is the smaller of the two cottages was delightful and had everything we could wish for, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The grounds well kept and John and Rhonda are great hosts and couldn't do enough to help with advise as to where eat and what to see. Would recommend this to anyone... More

My husband and I travelled to King Island with another couple and stayed at Naracoopa Cottages for 3 nights. I was a little concerned about us all bunking in together but in fact the cottage is cosy but with 2 good sized double bedrooms well separated, and a shared bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen is well equipped and there is... More

We arrived early for our booking but it was not a problem to John. He made us feel welcome showed us through our cottage and gave us a run down on the property. We immediately felt wanted. We were then left to enjoy the Island. As advertised the cottage is protected from the westerly wind and the view of the... More

Thank you, we aim to please and it is great being so protected from the Westerlies, we're also pretty safe from the East and South winds because of the way the property is situated but the occassional NE wind can get us. More

We found Blue Wren Cottage comfortable and had all we needed for a self-contained holiday. Naracoopa is a great location on the east coast - away from the worst of the weather - and the cottages have expansive views over Sea Elephant Bay. They are close to two of the best bird-watching sites on King, and John provided helpful bird... More

The Blue Wren cottage was very comfortable and attractively decorated, making it feel very homely. When the hot water system failed to work on day 2 of our stay, John offered us showers at his residence. Although this was a bit of a nuisance it didn't spoil our holiday. Naracoopa is a very peaceful part of King Island. You do... More
