I have always wanted to stay at this beautiful Inn. And it did not disappoint. The beautiful heritage building was so beautiful. The rooms were so nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was devine. Breakfast was provided and was very good as well.

A fabulous property, with lovely (calming) gardens. We stayed for a night prior to a Hike with the Tasmanian Walking Company. The Cottage was very private and loads of room. Very good value for a family of 5. All the facilities and a lovely continental breakfast left for the morning. Parking available if needed by the property. We self catered - there is a small IGA down the road offering lots of options and next to it a small Bottle Shop for other refreshments. Very friendly reception when we checked in. Made sure we were welcomed etc.

This inn is remarkably beautiful and excellent value. We stayed before and after the Bay of Fires walk, my friend and I had two separate rooms before, and one of the cottages after. The decor and ambience were quite literally the nicest I have seen in Australia, and I have stayed at some really good hotels. Every tiny detail had been thought through, and bathrooms were stunning, deep baths, hot showers, all very tasteful. Free continental breakfasts were provided, which were ample and coffee pod machines or plungers in every room. The onsite restaurant was nice too. If you are planning to stay anywhere near Launceston, I would absolutely recommend here. It is gorgeous.

My family of five has three teenage daughters and Pearce’s cottage was perfect. Three bedrooms, two lovely bathrooms, a great kitchen, lounge and dining areas. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and well maintained. A great washing machine and dryer were a bonus. It is 10 minutes drive to Launceston, but breakfast supplies, beautiful accommodation and very reasonable rates make it worth the drive.

My partner & I stayed two nights in the Loft. From the second we arrived, the lovely host Lydia was welcoming and warm. The gardens and room looked picturesque of the French countryside and were stunning. The loft was cosy and warm, and I actually preferred staying 10mins drive out of Launceston rather than in the city centre. The drive into Launceston was easy and quiet and it was no trouble finding parks when in the city. Everything about our stay was lovely! Would 100% recommend and return.

Such an amazing place to stay in the village of Hadspen a short drive from Launceston. In a historic building that has been perfectly restored we had two very good nights in The Loft. There is breakfast provided in the room of toast, yoghurt and granola. All we needed. On the second night we ate in the Red Feather restaurant and it was delicious. Served in the converted barn next door. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a short break in Tassie, and had 2 nights at the Red Feathers. Lovely location in the beautiful village of Hadspen, with gorgeous gardens surrounding the place. We stayed in the attic room, which is pure luxury, very spacious, comfy bed and a fabulous bathroom. The staff here are fabulous, you feel like you've walked into a friends house, and the welcome is honest, warm and genuine. We had dinner in the little restaurant, which was a 2 or 3 course set menu, and prepared by a lovely lady, who spent time chatting with us. I thoroughly recommend, and also their sister property for a drink and a bite, the Clarendon Arms. Excellent!

We decided to stay at the Red Feather Inn because I was looking to stay in Georgian style accommodation, reminiscent of what you'd find in the English countryside. The stone building, lush green English style garden and orchard all reminded me of the Cotswolds. It certainly didn't disappoint. We stayed a night in the Loft room which was furnished beautifully. The bed was comfy and there a was a table and chair by the window overlooking the garden. The bathroom had beautiful big flagstones on the floor which were very appropriate for a building of this era. The Molton Brown (Made in England) toiletries were a nice touch. There was a nice big bath tub as well. I'd have loved a claw foot cast iron bath tub with English tapware, but I'm just being (incredibly) picky. The view from the window over the English style garden and looking towards the original Georgian era coaching inn was great. Breakfast was included with the room, and was ready for us in the fridge to have the following morning. There's not a whole lot to do in Hadspen itself, but Launceston is close by and has a number of restaurants and cafes. There is a restaurant on site for those staying Thursday to Saturday. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a beautiful country stay reminiscent of the English countryside.

We arrived to be greeted by the chef - Bron and a chilled a bottle of bubbles. We enjoyed the bubbles in the beautiful gardens before being seated for dinner. The 4 of us enjoyed a most delicious 4 course meal along with the exceptional and personal service that Bron provided. Our rooms where spacey and comfy with attention to detail. A stunning location but the personal service that Bron provided makes such places truly special. Well done guys - loved it!!

I had not stayed here before, but had heard good reports. Our party of 16 enjoyed a fabulous 4 course evening meal together in the stables, and our classic cars were parked safely out of harms way. My main course of Crispy skin Tasmanian Salmon was perfectly caramelized on both sides, and served on a pea purée plus some other secret ingredients. Probably the best I have ever had. The accommodation was very stylish and appealing, and the in room breakfast was more than you would want. I would love to go back.
