We stayed two nights. The room we wete allocated was large and well appointed with ensuite. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to our request. The hosts were around to assist but were not intrusive. The gardens were beautiful and the stream at the bottom of the garden had active platypuses for you to watch. We spotted them two days running,...

We were made welcome from the start. The ambience of the beautiful heritage listed House was wonderful. Our room was the smallest of the five rooms but warm with an ensuite. There is a comfortable sitting room downstairs with TV and books if you wish in which we made use of. The We enjoyed a fantastic cooked breakfast where we...

while this is an historic site which is nice the best part is the creek next door and the resident platypus [sometimes more than one]- we saw one. the oom was a little small but large enough for 2 adult- our room in the back had sloping ceilings which needed a little adaptation but no great challenge

Thanks so much Jeffrey for writing our review. We're always pleased when our guests get to see our platypus! Glad too that the historic character of the house wasn't a great challenge & we thank you for staying with us. Best wishes, Karen.

The B&B couple were lovely. They made sure that we knew where to find the local platypus, and we actually saw it! The room itself was a bit cosy for 2 people, and we kept hitting our heads on the sloped ceilings. There was a small ensuite in our room, and a mini fridge in the closet. For breakfast, there...

Thank you so much for the lovely review, & taking the time to write one! We're always pleased when our guests do get to spot the platypus, not always guaranteed as you know. The architecture of the 1870's house does make the upstairs rooms "interesting" doesn't it. Glad you enjoyed your stay with us, best wishes, Karen.

A delightful couple make a stay in this beautiful house warm and welcoming. Hearty breakfasts overlooking the garden and stream set a hiker up well for an active day in the beautiful hinterland. Don't miss it!

We had a delightful four days at Cambridge House. We were originally drawn to Geeveston to have lunch at Masaaki's and we found out more of what the town had to offer. Cambridge House was a wonderful experience, the Geeves room was warm, spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts were very tasty and beautifully served in a room overlooking a very...

Lovely old, well appointed and beautiful B&B. Room is spacious, warm (important in Tasmania in winter) and bed was comfortable. The host are great and the breakfast great quality. Lovely grounds around the home. just a short walk from the Shops in the centre of the town.
