View from room absolutely spectacular. Restaurant was exceptional. Could not fault this location and would throughly recommend. We went down from Melbourne for a 2 night long weekend starting on the Friday. The stunning weather also helped make it an exceptional weekend

Lovely location overlooking the bay and mountains of Freycinet. Had a suite room which was large with a deck overlooking the bay and the mountains. And the friendly wallabies came a calling. The rooms are well furnished with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. There is only one tap in the kitchenette with fresh rain water. All the other...

There are lovely, well designed and spacious rooms overlooking the bay and a very good restaurant for dinner but this 'resort' is not open for breakfast or lunch - and given the prices, that seems very odd. Our travel agent had arranged for the hotel to deliver some basic breakfast ingredients to our room each day - juice, milk, yoghurt,...

The Edge of the Bay Resort is situated near Coles Bay in natural bush surroundings. It has good rooms with comfortable beds, minimal food preperation area, kettle toaster and plates and fridge, a desk/ eating area, couch, TV with free to air channels and good bathroom with a good sized shower. We stayed a long w/e with friends in a self contained cottage with fantastic views overlooking the Hazards through the large windows. We found the accommodation very comfortable and clean with the resort offering many other options including bikes, tennis, row boats, beach frontage to name a few....all of which were free (rare these days). We enjoyed the restaurant on...

We had been staying in some pretty awesome places over the previous few days, 5 star, wilderness retreats, etc. And then THIS! What an experience. Large, comfortable room, fitted with everything needed, plus beach towels. A big porch and full size windows looking out over the bay towards the Hazards. We sat on the porch and were entertained by a...

We hired a 2 bedroom cottage and enjoyed the view over Coles Bay from the full windows. The cottage was well equipped and had al the essentials for a pleasant 3 night stay. A bonus was the restaurant on site where we had an enjoyable evening meal on several occasions.

We stayed for 2 nights on our honeymoon. We had a suite overlooking The Hazards and Coles Bay. At first i was a little underwhelmed by the rooms compared to what we had paid. But the beds were very comfortable, the service was welcoming and friendly and the views were amazing. It grew on me. A nice verandah but we...

The resort is in a very beautiful setting directly on the beach. It's like having your own private stretch of sand. Little dinghies to take out on the water is a great touch. The only complaint is the bed was uncomfortable and should really be changed.... The employees at the resort were magnificent and made you feel very welcome. Would...

We stayed in superb studio apartments overlooking the beach and seas. Decks access directly to the shrub area and the rocks and beaches. Excellent sand and marvellous swimming. The om mediate delight is the group of wallabies who browse among the bushes and are incredibly tame. In addition large variety of birds and flora.
